Chapter 26

Hello everyone. Get ready for feelz. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Rowan's POV

I dropped the note that I had written earlier, and ran. I ran al the way back to my room and flung myself down on my bed. I closed the door and cried into my pillow. I don't know who I really am. I just let go the only thing that I loved

Akio opened the door and I sat up. Akio walked towards me and out his hand on my shoulder. I looked up, anger boiling inside me. I looked into his cold grey eyes and punched him. He looked stunned for a second and then stormed out of the door.

He deserved that, he deserved more. Way more. That was the only thing Akio does deserve. I looked out my window. The only thing that is keeping me going right now, is the fact that my friends are free. I imagined the look on Akio's face when he saw the hole in the wall. It instantly brought a smile to my face and I went to sleep with that on my mind.

Dream:

I was standing on my balcony looking over the hills. Martyn was standing beside me, an arm around my shoulder. Suddenly all of the light drained from the world. Martyn squeezed my shoulder and we heard a voice.

"I have not disappered... I have not been ruined... I will return..." I heard Martyn scream. I looked around and saw Martyn with another. My legs felt weak. I looked again and saw Martyn covered in blood, dead. I fell to my knees.

I woke with a start. I was breathing hard, trying to catch my breath. I finally able to catch my breath and I lay back down. I was about to drift off to sleep when I heard noise and noticed that the sun had rose. I groaned and got dressed into what I had to wear.

I moment later I heard a knock on the door. I told them to come in and saw Akio standing in the door way. He grabbed my hand, and lead me to the throne room. My "throne" was made out of intertwined (Did I spell that right?) branches. I sat down and Akio started to speak.

"Our wedding shall take place in two days. And then we shall be queen and King." I smirked.

"You are not worthy. Only the worthy can be king. When you sit on this throne, it is nothing but an oversized chair. You will never deserve this throne. I think that, deep down, you always knew that." I said standing up. Akio ran towards me full of fury, but guards held him back.

"You forgot. My palace, my guards, my protection." I said walking to my room.

When I got there I pulled out ink, a quill, and paper. I set these down on my desk and begain to write.

Dear Friends,

I wish for you to not return, it is not safe. I do not wish that you appear here again. I send you this note in great haste. I want to inform you that the royal wedding will take place in two days. I wish you the best and I wish that you are happy right where you are. I also asks you to forget about me. It pains me ot say so, but I need you to forget.

I looked over my letter, a tear staining the paper. I folded the paper into a bird and let if fly off of my hand. It was a trick that I had learned. I told it to find my friends, where ever they may be.

Lewis's POV

We ran just as Rowan instruced us to. It was hard, leaving her, but I knew that we would be back. We arrived back home and meet Simon. Simon was over joyed and we spent a few days catching up and trying to comfort Martyn. It hurt him very mad emotionally.

I had just started to get Simon a jaffa, when I heard Simon shout, "Holy Jaffa Cakes!" I ran toward him and saw a paper bird flying towards us. it was a note from Rowan, it read,

Dear Friends,

"Two days?!" Kim shouted in alarm. I feel bad for Rowan. She sound really confused, if only there was something taht we could do to help her. I mean after all that she did for us, we owe her.

"I know what we need to do!" Rythian shouted suddenly, "There is a mirror that shows who you really are. The Grim Mirror. If Rowan was to look into it-"

"She would see who she really is!" Zoaey interrupted. Rythian nodded.

"Are you sure we can get it in 2 days?" Martyn asked.

"We have to try" Kim cut in. Rythian nodded.

Rythian's POV

I lead my friends to a hallow tree. A snake slithered out.

"We have to awnser it's question, and proth that our cause is worthy." I said.

"What issss your reassson for thisss mirror?" the snake asked, slithering between us. We explained about Rowna and Akio and everything. The snake nodded it's head and asked,

"Firssst what isss a perssson who livesss in disscuissse, who dealssss insssecret and tellsss not but liesss. Next tell me me what issss the lassst thing to mend the middle of middle and end of end. Finally tell me the world often heard during the ssssearch of a hard to find word. Now sssstring them togtehr and anssswer me thisss. What creature would you be unwilling to kissssss?
