Rythian's POV

I knew that there was only one way to save my sister, it would be a last resort, but I knew I had no other option if I wanted to see her alive ever again. I had to send us to a different world. There would be side effects though. We would get younger, forget about our children, but at least the flux would die down a bit. Well, on the people. It was settled then, now to tell them.

This was going to be harder than I thought. Like, a lot harder. I knew that Kim would want to stay here with her daughter Alex. I wanted to stay here with everyone, but if they are leaving this world so am I. The only thing was, the twins. I would forget all about them. I would probably never see them again. God, why did this have to be so hard.

If only Kim hadn't been Fluxed, then we wouldn't have this problem. If Duncan hadn't chased Kim into the flux...Duncan. This was all Duncan's fault. It's his fault that Kim is net to dead. Duncan's fault we have to leave this world. His fault that we are going to lose our children forever. It's his fault.

I explained to Zoey that she was to tell Duncan that we had to leave and I was going to create a portal that would take us to the new world. She agreed and before I knew it we were knocking on the door to Kim's room.

After no answer I opened the door to see Kim lying on her bed, looking very fluxed, Duncan and Alex beside her bed. Duncan looked up at the sound of me opening the door.

"What do you want?" He choked.

"Rythian came up with a way to save Kim." Zoey said. Both Duncan's and Alex's faces lit up.

"What is it?" Alex asked.

"Well, Rythian can create a portal to take Kim and Duncan to a new world." Zoey said.

"That's great. Almost too good to be true." Duncan said.

"But. Alex you and the other kids might not live to go through the portal so you have to sty here." Zoey said, causing Alex's face to fall, "The ones who do go through will be younger and will... will... forget you kids."

"Dad, you... you wouldn't do that... would you?" Alex asked, looking at Duncan. Duncan looked from Kim to Alex and back to Kim. Alex's eyes started to well with tears, not looking at her father. She ran past us, crying. I felt extremely bad for her.

"When can the portal be made?" Duncan asked.

"Today." I replied bluntly.

"Great." Duncan said.

"No, it's not 'great'!" I practically yelled at him, "It's you fault that Kim is dying, your fault we have to leave our kids, your fault that we have to leave! It's all your fault!"

When The Portal Is Ready

Zoey's POV

the portal is ready and everyone except the kids are here is here. Duncan is holing Kim bridal style. We were all ready. Finally, it was exactly noon and the portal was turned on. The wind became fierce and started puling us all into the portal, I knew that there wee many people just here to watch the departure and saw goodbye, but they were getting pulled in by the portal too.

It looked as if we were all going to have to leave. I saw Duncan wave bye to this place and run, still holding Kim, towards the portal. He jumped through and disappeared through the swirling purple of the portal. The wind picked up and the next people to disappear into the portal were Hannah and Rowan, Next Martyn and Rythian, I was pulled into the portal next and all I knew was that everyone else came through with me.

I missed the twins already... wait... what twins am I talking about?
