Chapter 32

Rowan's POV

I walked in front of everybody, slashing through branches with my sword. I had no idea where we were and I wanted to get out of there.

I had a bad feeling, like something was going to happen. As if things need to get worse. I slashed angrily at some branches and saw that the path widened into a small clearing. I pointed it out to my friends, and we rushed towards it.

We all sat down in my grass, and just relaxed. I knew that my muscles were tired from walking all day. I lay my sword by my side and closed my eyes. I heard twigs cracking and open my eyes, abruptly.

"Guys, we got company." I said, causing my friends to open their eyes too. I picked up my sword and stood up facing the people. Kim, Zoey, and Hannah stood up too. They didn't have any weapons, but they still had on a battle-face.

I could tell that my friends were as terrified as I was. All these men looked strong, and my powers had some sort of block. Perfect timing for that to happen.

What looked like the leader of he group stepped out from behind the other men. He seemed to be judging us. I was a little self conscious, and didn't appreciate him doing that.

He looked first from Hannah, then to Kim, then to Zoey, and finally onto me. He seemed to take longer looking at me than the others. I was a bit self conscious as he eyed me.

"Who are you?" I asked taking a step towards these strange men.

"I will ask the questions here." The man replied, pulling out a dagger. "What are your names?"

"Why would we tell you." Zoey said, rather boldly considering she didn't have a weapon.

"Cause if you don't, you die." The man said stepping towards us, a creepy smile on his face. Kim looked terrified of the man, and I could't blame her. The man took another step towards us, dagger in hand.

"I'm Kim, that's Zoey, Hannah, and Rowina." Kim said hurriedly pointing at each of us at turn. I was happy that Kim gave the man my formal name, I was unsure about this man.

"Well then, Kim, Zoey, Hannah, and Rowina. Three girls such as you shouldn't be alone in the forest."

"Why in Minecraftia should that be true?" Hannah said, looking fiercely at the mysterious man.

"Because there are bad people in this forest. People like. . . me." The man said. I readied my sword and tried to fight him, but he pushed the blade of my sword against my temple. And everything faded to black.

I woke up in a cold, dark room. I saw that Hannah, and Kim were sitting awake, whilst Zoey was still asleep on the mossy stone floor. I crawled over to her and shook her awake.

"What. . . where. . . how?" Zoey asked groggily, sitting up and rubbing my head. I just shrugged and lay on the cold floor. I shoot up after a few mere seconds, there was a sudden sound and I turned towards where the sound had come from, but found nothing.

"What was that?" Kim asked, voicing my own question.

"Honestly, I have absolutely no idea. Hannah? Zoey" I asked. Hannah and Zoey shook their heads. I listened closely, but I heard nothing but my heartbeat pounding in my chest.

Rythian's POV

I paced around blackrock. Martyn called, but I ignored it. Zoey wasn't back yet and I was worried. I called Duncan, and Kim hadn't come back either. I was worried about them. What if something happened to them?

I finally checked Martyn's message. Rowan hadn't come back either. I bet that Hannah hadn't come back either. I kept pacing around, and around.

Then I realized that pacing wouldn't do anything. I was going to find them!

I walked into my bedroom and started to pack my alchemy bag. I put in a dagger, food, water, bandages, clothes, and my wand. I walked down the stairs and grabbed up some ethereal essence powder. Ethereal essence powder will let you walk through whatever you sprinkle it on. I was going to save the girls, no matter what.
