-August 6th, 1995, present day-
The Order were officially back together. The original members from the first wizardry war against Voldemort there were me, Evie, Remus, Hagrid, Dumbledore, Mad-Eye, Minerva McGonagall and Snivellus. Other originals and new ones had been protecting Harry during the holidays. New members were Molly and Arthur Weasley, Kingsley Shacklebolt and my cousin Tonks. We had been having meetings in the dining room of my family home about Voldemort's motives. Today, Harry was being escorted here with members such as Tonks, Kingsley and Mad-Eye. You see, he had been warned about being expelled from Hogwarts because he performed a patronus charm in front of a muggle. It was clearly a defence, Voldemort was clearly behind it. Hermione and some of the Weasley children were already here. I was excited to see Harry, he could also finally meet Evie.
"He's getting stronger by the minute, we have to act now!!" I said when I saw Harry smiling at me. I went to greet him when Molly shut the door to send him upstairs. When he returned, Molly started fussing over him when I interrupted her. "Harry Potter." I smiled.
"Sirius!" He grinned before running into my arms as Remus watched us happily. I definitely looked a lot healthier since I saw Harry last. I lead Harry inside the room to meet Evie. She held out her hand expecting a handshake but he pulled her into an unexpected hug. "Sorry, I'm just so glad to meet my mum's best friend, and godmother. You're practically family." Harry admitted happily. Evie beamed and they began to chat for a while until Remus explained to Harry about what the Daily Prophet had been writing about him. "The Minister, Fudge, is using all his power, including his influence at the Daily Prophet, to smear anyone who claims the Dark Lord has returned." I stated.
"Why?" Harry wondered.
"The Minister thinks Dumbledore's after his job." Remus sighed.
"That's insane! No one in their right mind could believe that Dumbledore..."
"Exactly the point. Fudge isn't in his right mind. It's been twisted and warped by fear. Now fear makes people do terrible things, Harry. The last time Voldemort gained power he almost destroyed everything we hold most dear. Now he's returned, and I'm afraid the Minister will do almost anything to avoid facing that terrifying truth." Remus added.
"Basically Fudge doesn't want you trained in combat." I then said.
"Combat? What does he think, that we're forming some sort of wizard army?" Ron questioned.
"Precisely. He believes that Dumbledore is assembling his own forces to take on the Ministry. He's becoming more paranoid by the minute. The others wouldn't want me telling you this, Harry, but things aren't going at all well with the Order of the Phoenix. Fudge is blocking the truth at every turn, and these disappearances are exactly how it started before. Voldemort is definitely on the move." I explained. There was a small pause. "We think Voldemort wants to build up his army again." I confessed. "Fourteen years ago he had huge numbers at his command, not just witches and wizards but all manner of dark creatures. He has been recruiting heavily and we have been attempting to do the same. But gathering followers isn't all he's interested in..." I carried on, ignoring the glares.
Mad-Eye coughed loudly in the corner."We believe Voldemort may be after something..."
"Sirius!" Mad-Eye warned.
"Something he didn't have last time."
"You mean like a weapon?" Harry asked. I opened my mouth to tell him before I was stopped.
"No! That's enough! Harry's just a boy, you say much more and you might as well induct him into the Order straight away..." Molly fussed.
"Good! I want to join! If Voldemort's raising an army then I want to fight!" Harry insisted. I winked. "Just as brave as your parents Harry." Evie exclaimed. Harry smiled.
