Chapter Thirty-One~Battle At Hogwarts.

-2nd May, 1998, present day-

-Evie's POV-

A lot had happened. Bill Weasley got married to Fleur Delacour in August, 1997, and their wedding was ambushed by Death Eaters after the ministry was officially taken over. Harry, Ron and Hermione had gone traveling looking for horcruxes, but Harry sent me letters on his trip to let me know that he was safe. They were captured however in March and were taken hostage at Malfoy Manor for a bit, they soon escaped, resulting in the death of Dobby. In April, Tonks had her baby Ted with Remus. Just yesterday Harry, Hermione and Ron had broken into the Gringotts bank and found another horcrux. But now, they were returning to Hogwarts as apparently, Voldemort had hidden one there. The Order was called ready to protect him from Snape.

I was summoned to the room of requirement when Harry arrived today. He ran straight into my arms. He had not seen me since August. "I'm so glad you're safe and sound, for now. I expect Snape will know you've been in Hogsmeade." I told him. Just as I said this, Ginny ran in and repeated what I had just said. All the students were summoned to the great hall for a meeting. I, and the order waited outside ready for our cue. We protected Harry and Snape had a duel, and lost to Mcgonagall. Harry told her that he needed time, so we were given instructions to protect the castle. I helped the other teachers and order members with protective enchantments. It looked so beautiful as the giant forcefield formed over the castle grounds. Mcgonagall bewitched the statues to come to life to provide extra protection. It was very impressive, it reminded of why I loved being a witch so much.

It wasn't long until the forcefield was broken by Voldemort's power and his forces to start charging towards the castle. I felt immense fear now. It was a lot more creatures and people on his side compared to the first war. I started to cast spells from every angle, knocking death eaters and snatchers to the floor. "Expecto Patronum!!" I streamed as a fog of dementors glided towards some final year Hufflepuff students. My patronus frightened them away so the students could run away. I duelled and duelled and duelled. Each time I did, I feared for my life, I just wished I had Sirius by my side telling me it was going to be alright.
