-Harry's POV-

As I reached the edge of the forest, I took Evie's letter into my hand and opened it up. A tear ran down my cheek at the sight of her decorative, neat handwriting. The letter read "Dear Harry, if you are reading this then I must no longer be here (i hope I lost my life fighting valiantly) and you have made your decision. I'm sorry to leave you, but I will always be in your heart, along with Sirius and your parents and those who may have lost their lives. It is important that as you are facing death, as you knew you would end up doing, that you know that Dumbledore and I left you a little something inside of the snitch you may have in your hand. This will make you brave. It was in a box that Sirius gave to me. Please do not feel bad that I could not use it myself, it is essential that you have it. I love you Harry, we will see each other again one day. I will be watching from above. Control your fear and good luck, godson. All my love, Evie x" I smiled to myself before looking at the snitch. "I'm ready to die." I whispered as I touched the cold metal against my lips. My stomach dropped at the sight of the resurrection stone. I flipped it three times before hearing footsteps. I looked around to see myself joined with my parents, Sirius and Remus. I walked towards where my mother's hand was reaching for me. "You've been so brave, we are so proud of you." My mother smiled. "You're almost there son." My father added. "I didn't want any of you to die for me, I'm sorry about you Remus, and your son." I said regretfully. He smiled understandably. "He will learn what we died for one day Harry." Remus reassured me. I looked at them again and took a deep breath. "Does it hurt, dying?" I questioned. "Quicker than falling asleep." Sirius whispered. "Will he be able to see you?" I inquired. They shook their heads. "We're in here." Sirius explained, pointing to my heart. I nodded. I made my way to the forest where I would confront death.

As Voldemort came into my sight, I dropped the stone and saw them disappear. "Harry Potter, the boy who lived, come to die." He whispered. I closed my eyes as the killing curse hit me. Everything went black until I found myself standing in a bright white room. I looked ahead and felt butterflies as I saw Dumbledore and Evie walking towards me. I looked down below a bench to see a horrifying thing crying out, oddly I felt an urge to help it. "You cannot help it, Harry, let us walk." Dumbledore insisted. I obeyed and followed them both. "There are some things that need to be explained to you." Dumbledore started. I nodded at him to continue. "What you saw underneath that bench Harry was the part of Voldemort that lived within you, you see Harry, you were the horcrux he never meant to make. That was why it was essential for him to kill you." He explained. "So, I am definitely dead? And I am in King's Cross?" I questioned him curiously. "Questionable. And is that where we are? Interesting. Another thing Harry , you are the true master of the Hallows, and the master of death." Dumbledore answered. I nodded. "Evie... the stone... I'm so sorry. That must have been hard for you." I apologised sadly. She smiled and shook her head, tears were in her eyes. "It was essential for you to have it, to get rid of his soul inside of you. Besides, Sirius and I will be reunited soon no doubt. You've been so brave Harry, I cannot express how proud I am of you." She admitted. "He is still alive right? And the snake? Does this mean I have to go back?" I wondered. "True. And it is your choice, if you want to, you can board a train." Dumbledore said. I nodded. "Good luck Harry." Evie whispered as she hugged me before disappearing. Dumbledore simply nodded and walked away, as he did so, I heard a train coming...
