Jet's POV

"Is everyone safely downstairs?"

"Yes, I got someone to lock the doors from the inside."

"Come out, come out wherever you are. Better be now rather than later if you want to keep these people safe."

"I'm not letting you have he-"

"I'm coming out, don't hurt anyone."

"Ahh there she is, the beautiful strong woman I was searching for."

Nicole's POV

I slowly walk towards Jarred transforming into my wolf.

"Nico-"

"Don't even I'm doing this to keep the pack safe."

"No, who knows what he'll do once he has you in his grasp."

"Jarred? Can you promise me something?"

"Yes, I can."

"Promise me that you will not hurt anyone as long as I come with you."

"I promise. You have my word."

"Thank you."

"Nicole, Promise me you'll return."

"I promise."

"Is that what you think, my girl."

"I'm not YOUR GIRL."

"Oh, looks like I found myself a feisty one."

"Nicole, if you don't get back over here I will NEVER forgive you."

"Since when did I care what you've had to say before?"

"Okay, whatever princess. When you return I won't be here waiting for you."

"You... I... why would you say that? You have no idea how much that hurts me, after I was going to tell you how I had begun to feel for you. My feelings for you were growing before I knew it. I hate you so much that I love you."

"Nico-"

"NO, YOU DON'T GET TO SAY ANYTHING ELSE, YOU MOTHER FUCKING ASSHOLE! Lead the way Jarred."

"Right this way."

As we walk away, I notice that we've only been walking for about twenty minutes. When I get closer to the rogue's hideout I realize that there are a lot of wolves training. I decided to try to figure out as much as I can, sending all the information back to my dad.

"Whatever you're thinking, it wont work."

"Don't bother me, I'm not in the fucking mood."

"I'd quit with the attitude."

"I don't have to listen to you. I'll do what I want when I want and how I want."

"How dare you, you are nothing but a spoiled little brat."

"Wow and here I thought you rogue's were supposed to be superior to us but I guess that's not the case."

We head into this little house, Jarred then grabs me by the neck and crashes my back against a wall so hard that I let out a whimper, all I could think of was how I wish I wouldn't die right now. My vision becomes blurry due to my windpipe being restricted, I start to lose consciousness but just before I did, he let go of me.

"Do you get it? This is my place, you do as I say, obey my orders if you don't want me to take my promise back and kill everyone you love." I drop to the ground, holding my throat coughing to catch my breath and I just nod. He continues, "Good, now get up."

I was going to say something snarky, all of a sudden I sensed someone that I knew. When I found out who it was, that's when I knew something was about to happen and I couldn't stop it.
