When I go to my room, I close the door behind me without locking it, so when I start to undress I don't realize that my door has been opened. I start by taking off my pj shorts/pants, walking over to my dresser and turning on a little speaker I kept there, on. Then I connect my phone to it and start blasting Hollywood Undead's Lion Eyes at maximum volume, belting out the song at the top of my lungs. I am so engrossed in the music that I am not even aware of any noise that could draw my attention. I am loving the music and don't give a damn that someone might be observing me.

I keep taking off my clothes while I dance around my room and get something on for the day. I choose to proceed with this...

As I begin to put my clothes on, that's when I notice a figure out of the corner of my eye standing at the entrance observing me

As I begin to put my clothes on, that's when I notice a figure out of the corner of my eye standing at the entrance observing me. This behavior makes me grin a little since it shows that I am appreciated for my physical appearance and that they don't seem to care what scars I have or if any scars at all. I actually adore the fact that they don't give a fuck about how I would appear. When I turn to face that figure, I discover that It's Jarred.

"Jarred? Why are you checking me out?"

"Do I need a reason?"

"No, but-" He cuts me off.

"But nothing, now let's go."

"Go where?"

"For a run." He declares, then he starts to transform into his wolf. I then take his lead and turn into mine as well, and the two of us start barreling out of my room, down the stairs, and out the front doors. Upon witnessing this, the other wolves within the home promptly follow suit, sprinting at top speed as they relish the crisp air blowing through their coats, the semi-soft ground beneath their paws, and the pure rush of adrenaline pumping through our veins.

With such a big territory, there are a lot of beautiful secluded places within the grounds of the pack. While running I manage to get ahead, but I eventually find myself too far up to see the rest of them. I unexpectedly discovered this,

I am brought to a complete, dead stop by the sight of the waterfall and the breathtaking panorama that is right in front of me

I am brought to a complete, dead stop by the sight of the waterfall and the breathtaking panorama that is right in front of me. Unaware that I had stopped, Jarred literally runs right into me at a fast pace that he is forced to practically tackle me, sending us both plummeting into the depths. After the others see this mishap they start laughing and snickering at the both of us, now drenched, Jarred and I struggle to get to our feet, and as we do, I choose to shake off the moisture and cover Jarred with more of it. Jarred glances at me and exclaims,

"Really?"

"What? It's a natural thing to do when you get wet."

"Okay, if it is, then here." He then shakes the excess liquid off of him, sprinkling me with it. I then yell,

"Jarred!"

"Boo hoo, suck it up. It's just water."

"Oh so that's how it is? Huh?" Playing around, I tackle him down into the reservoir again in response. "How did you feel about that, haha." When I do this, the rest of them look at each other, then they stare at me. They are genuinely unsure of what to do.

"Real mature."

"Come on guys, the water is great." I gesture for them to join Jarred and I. They hesitate a bit before deciding to ultimately join in on the fun, laughing, play-fighting, slashing in the lake deriving satisfaction from it. Jake simply sits on the shore and observes us having fun while all of us play. I stride up to him in an innocent manner and I push him into the water, he then expresses,

"C'mon, why?"

"I thought I'd cool you off since it seemed like you were overheating." I give him a mischievous smirk. Then I go on to add, "Come on and join in the fun, you sourpuss." He attempts to hide a small smile from me, but I noticed that it's starting to show, and he ends up smirking and shaking his head at me. At last, Jake gave in and started laughing too.

"Hahaha."

For the remainder of our day in the bush sitting in the sun trying to dry off, we talk about anything and everything we could think of, possibly blurt out, even Jake seems to be enjoying himself. Which was super weird, but I didn't really question the fact that he never once accused or complained about any one of the new pack members being rogues, glared at them, or even treated them like outsiders. As I watched his facial features for a while to see whether they would change or not, I was happy that they remained the same. Of course, I would never truly admit it to his face that I was proud of him. These kinds of moments were exactly what I had been hoping for, proof that my vision was coming to fruition as I had imagined it would look and feel like.

"We're heading back. Nicole, come."

"No, I'm not leaving."

"I am not going to argue with you."

"Then don't." He simply leaves us alone, walking away, taking the entire pack with him. An hour after the wolves left, I called Jarred's name to grab his attention.

"Jarred?"

"Yeah?"

"What do you think of me? Honestly?"

"Like, how good you are in bed?"

"No, be serious."

"I am."

"Come on, Jarred, please."

"Alright, alright. What was the question?"

"What are your thoughts about me, and please be completely honest?"

"I believe that you are a wonderful, genuine, beautiful, and sexy woman who found the best in me."

"Is that really what you think of me?"

"Yes, why?"

"What about my scars?"

"They also embody all those traits too since they are an extension of you. How come you would ask me that?"

"I just wanted to know."
