"No, some other fucking idiot." I say, sarcastically.

"What did I do?"

"Oh I don't know, what the fuck do you think you did?" I say with an angry contorted face at Jake.

"Nothing."

"Well, then I guess Diablo started this on his own against a small group of disruptive wolves who don't know how to behave!"

"Yea-"

"Don't act like you're the innocent person here. You did, and I know it!" I cut him off with a roar, then carried on. "Call them off right now!"

"No!" He yells back.

"No!... If I were you, you should probably rephrase that statement. If you don't call them off right now, I will!"

"No! They don't belong here and they never will!"

"He-"

"Diablo, I got this okay. I know how to handle him."

"Handle me? What the fuck do you mean handle me?!"

"Jake, shut up!"

"Need any help."

"Nope, I'm just fine on my own."

"She can handle it." Dad leaned towards Jarred as he said this.

"They never should have been accepted into this pack! They're nothing but ruthless, degenerate monsters!"

"Stop! Stop being such an asshole! Why can't you be like you were when we were younger!" My voice cracks on the last word. I'm frustrated to the point where I almost change into my wolf and confidently strut myself towards Jake. Counting on him to be slightly startled by my sudden action I'm about to take on him if he doesn't call them off by the time I get close enough to him, then continue, "Now I'm not going to ask you again. CALL THEM OFF! NOW!"

As I say that Jake's small group kind of backs off, looking at Jake before turning to face me because they know I mean business and I will not take no for an answer.

"Nicole. What's wrong with you? You need to quit being so naive, nobody ever really changes just like that."

"What do you mean what's the matter with me? What's the matter with you? Why do you feel the need to argue with me over the most stupidest things all the time? They're nothing like what you and others perceive them to be, they are much more than they appear. These wolves deserve better and you're not helping with that at all. Why? Why do you have to hurt me like this?"

"I mean, why do you have such a high level of trust in them? There is nothing wrong with me. This is no frivolous fight, these wolves hurt you, they caused you so much pain, excruciating pain that I honestly believed you were going to wither away and die, never blooming again."

"I spent a whole week living over there. Watching, observing the surroundings all around me, I realized that these wolves were not surviving like we were; rather, they were living like animals. It was impossible for these wolves to learn right from wrong, no one to teach them, no one to treat them the way they should have been treated. They didn't have stability, now they do. What part of that do you not comprehend?"

"You weren't living, you were kidnapped, imprisoned by them, by Jarred. They had taken you hostage. I can't, I'll never accept it.

"Jake-"

"No! Not this time!"

"God. What do I have to do to get you to listen to me? Huh!? How do I get you to fucking ever listen to me!?"

"There might be one thing that would compel me to listen to what you have to say."

"What exactly would that be?"

"Come live with me, and not with them."

"Is that all? Is that what would make you listen to my words, the words that come out of my mouth?"

"Yes, that's all it would take."

"I'll give it some thought after you tell them to go home."

"Nicole?"

"Jarred." I said sternly.

"Everyone go back to the house."

"All right, now that everyone is present. We need to talk."

After successfully persuading Jake to rescind his small snarl brigade of growlers. All four of us step out the common area and into the kitchen, where I have to tell them what the fuck is going on and explain everything that has happened so far.

"So what the hell is going on?"
