Chapter 25: Hey Buddy, You in London

[A/N: You brought this to yourselves! And i don't know how the London school system goes, so I'm following the Australian system where there are 2 weeks off. Lastly, sorry for the long update]

Dil's P.O.V:
My family and I are returning to London for the school break that lasts for 2 weeks. We are staying at Uncle Martyn's place as Dan and Phil are going to show me the life of a youtuber. I already told them that I know how its like since I watch them do it but they want me to experience it first hand. Not to mention, the condition that I'm in, they think its time for me to express myself on front of the camera, share bits of my life to the public. YouTube isnt as popular as it used to be according to Dan but it is still enough for me to get a decent audience.

We walked to the YouTube space and there was a set up of my bedroom... Almost. Dan and Phil's friends came over such as Louise, Chris, PJ, Anthony and Ian to watch me do this and give advice. I keep telling them that I wasnt interested but what I did to Elisa, I have to do this.

"So what do I say?" I ask as everyone is behind the camera.

"Just say hi then introduce yourself" Phil replied.

"Hi!" I saluted. "So, my name is Dil!"

I did the hand gestures then everyone looked at Dan where his face was turned red then filled with shock. Thats when I just realised what I've done.

"PHIL?! I WILL F****** KILL YOU FOR THIS!!!" Dan yelled as the two ran around like they were kids.

Meanwhile, the other YouTubers are telling me to continue as they can cut things out. They did tell me that I have a choice to grow a genuine audience by not telling them who my parents are or tell the world who they are and my subscribers are mostly filled with Phan girls. I choose my own path and decided not to tell. So I just talked about a short introduction but in the middle, I raged quit!

"Why the ef am I doing this?!" I yelled. "What is the point of talking of the camera and talking about random crap?!"

"It what your parents do for a living Dylan" Anthony said.

"Not to mention, its the medium on how they met!" Ian replied.

"But its not me!" I said. "I dont vlog! I perform, I make drinks!"

"Does Dil have his guitar here?" Chris asked.

Phil got my guitar bag a PJ brought out his pocket harmonica and Dan bringing out a keyboard. Dan did the countdown and I was confused at first but PJ played the first note. I then strummed and it was just a jam session, being recorded on camera. I started to have fun and I guess I might have smiled a bit.

Phil's P.O.V:
After Dil's recording session and uploading it to Dil's channel called 'Music Of the Love Child', we left and traveled to Lancashire to visit the graves of my parents. They died when Dil was 8 and they only met a few times during the christmas holidays. We decided to stay at my parents house which Martyn and Dan managed to save it. Since the mortgage was paid, it was just reserved as a holiday house. Me and Martyn however has to chip in together to pay the bills.

Suddenly, Dan got a text on his phone. He gave a face palm and I checked who it was and what it said.

"Hey buddy, you in London?" - Nick Jonas.

"You still kept his contact details?" I asked Dan.

"Thats what you got from that?!" Dan answered. "He's still using that old meme!"

"What meme?!" Dil asked.

"None of your concern!" Dan said as he walks away.

Phil however decided to tell me about the 'Hey buddy, you in London' trend. It seems interesting and funny that I did more research. It was a trend back in 2015... Wow, I wonder how Dan reacted to this since he was in University...

... But was quite intrigued that Nick was once friends with Dan... Especially after seeing PINOF 2 before.

Dan's P.O.V:
This message... This tweet... I remember this... Back when I was trying to study for my entrance exams back in London...

APRIL 2015:
Exams are just months away and Phil never came by to visit. I was alone and I asked Liana to help me study for university. Then my phone buzzed. It was from Nick asking me if I was in London. The Phandom replied to it first before I did, saying stuff like 'Dan is studying' or 'Dan is now unavailable' or 'Please put some sense into him... Bring him back to youtube'.

When I went to Starbucks, I replied to it saying that I was busy but it was too late because Nick saw me. He ordered his coffee and a croissant and decided to talk to me.

"I heard that you were quitting youtube" Nick said.

"I needed to take a different path" I replied. "Phil is gone so I decided to take this road alone".

"Wait... Phil is married?" Nick asked.

"Didn't you know?" I asked.

"I know that you guys didnt talk much during the Teen Choice Awards and the hug you gave me seemed odd" Nick said. "But let me help you with your study"

"No! You don't have to!" I said.

"I insist" he said.

So Nick came over the apartment was bare empty as usual. Nick got one of my textbooks and a laptop and we studied together. Then during the break, we played some Band Hero and some Mario Kart and what I'm feeling during those times, it reminded me of Phil. What we're doing back then... Exactly how me and Phil would do it. I was first deluded but once it came to a realisation, I needed him out. I don't want to remember and relive those moments.

I told Nick to leave and I never saw him since...

NOW:
"Nick, what are you doing?" I asked.

"I just wanted to do some sightseeing and I heard you were back. Then you left again?" He said.

"Dude, don't worry! Me and Phil are going to the BBC tomorrow for the radio show! You should come over!" Dan said.

"That is the other reason why I'm here! I'm your surprise guest for the show!" Nick said.

I then turned as Phil grabbed my phone and said 'bye' to Nick. I was about to ask Phil why he did it but he brought me upstairs and locked the door to a guest room. He pushed me on to the bed and gave me a rough kiss. His eyes changed and his aura of happiness disappeared.

"You are mine Daniel!" Phil said.

Dil's P.O.V:
Uncle Martyn, Uncle Adrian, and Liana came over at the same time, hearing the lock on a door. The 4 of us sighed as we know whats going on.

"Are they...?" Liana asked.

"Yes" I said. "Just because Nick Jonas..."

"Got it!" Martyn said. "Forgive my younger brother as he tends to be possessive".

We can hear the floor creaking from upstairs and we decided to drive to the local shopping center. We ate in the food court where I got fish and chips (how British of me) then I got a text. It was from an anonymous number but it said.

Hey Dil, you in London? If still, wanna hang out sometime? - Selina Scott

"Problem Dylan?" Adrian asked.

"Old classmate texted me for the first time" I said. "Don't know if I should".

"Do you want to?" Martyn asked,

"Not really since I still have feelings for Summer..." I answered. "But at the same time, she probably still hates me since I didnt call her when I ran into the woods".

"But isnt it Selina didnt have any interest on you?" Liana asked.

I gave it some thought and I got a text from Anthony, PJ, Chris and Louise that my video is already up. I gave it a look and it has 1000 views already (my prediction, Dan and PJ). From there, i saw the comments and noticed that Selina commented on it saying 'Is that Dil?!". Either way, my identity is exposed... But the worst identity given to me. I replied to her saying that I'm not interested on seeing her but she then replied back saying... I'm sorry.
