Chapter 34: The past, The Magic and The Frienship
Dil's P.O.V:
After still crying on what happened to Tabitha, I decided to take a hike, clear things off my mind. The thing that bothered me the most was the idea of not being able to save the ones I love, how I'm weak and how Erica took her away from me. As I was walking, I felt a calling from a woman... with a familiar tone. It sounded like she's trying to help me. This feeling is beyond what's real but more on the supernatural. This feeling didnt materialise to the real world but its aura sent me to an area in Granite falls... The same spot where I lost Tabitha."Why am I here?! This is where I lost her!" I cried.
"Granite Falls will never separate you from the ones you love" the aura told me. "You can free them, your emotions can give back the thing they've robbed".
I sat down and meditated, concentrating on what I wanted to do... Which is to bring back Tabitha. I brought out a voo-doo and focused my thoughts on her, her smile, her face, the way she is and all that... I revolved it all around her. The voo-doo started to glow and something just glowed right in front of me. A while light in a form of a human appeared and from there, it fully materialises to Tabitha. I opened my eyes and she was back. She was confused but by the time she saw me, she knew I saved her.
"Dil!!!" she cried as she we both fell to the ground as she hugged me. "I missed you soo much! It was dark and I was alone but I knew you would save me!"
"I can't believe I saved you!" I said. "I thought I was weak and couldn't be able to protect the people I love!"
"But you did..." Tabitha said as we kissed.
We both looked up and saw the stars in the sky. It was beautiful like a diamond in the sky. Like each planet is its own crystal. I never saw this many stars in London before and the last time I've seen this sky was when I was with Summer back when I ran away from home.
"Willow Creek is beautiful isnt it?" Tabitha said.
"True" I said. "Lets go back... The others may be worried sick".
We both walked back to our campsite and Eliza and Bob immediately saw us. Eliza ran and hugged Tabitha as they both became confused on how I saved her. But they are glad that I managed to do it. As we all gathered together to help build the tent, I spotted our rubbish bin floating of the ground. I decided to walk towards it and a ghost of a woman appeared. I noticed this occurrence earlier when one of the rocks float when I saved Tabitha.
"Hello, are you the one who showed me how go save Tabitha?" I asked.
The bin fell to the ground softly and a ghost emerged from it. It was colour white and she looked old, like near the age of Preston. She saw me and I sensed a hint of love from her but hid it deep within.
"Hello Do- Dylan" she said.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"I'm Li- Noemi" the ghost said. "And you're Dil Howlter... Or Dylan Howell-Lester. I see you know your ability with magic. Big decision once September 24 occurs!"
"Wh--- oh... My birthday" I said. "So you know magic?"
"Not only I know it but I used it so my spirit stay in this world for a while" Noemi said. "Don't worry, most residents in Willow Creek choose to have their ghosty forms still intact in this world... Only if they chose magic over logic".
"Sounds fun" I said.
"Its not... You are still trapped in Willow Creek but this time, as a ghost. Some people regret it but I don't. In fact, you're the reason why I decided to stay as a spirit" Noemi answered.
