Chapter 33: Outdoor Retreat

Dil's P.O.V:
A week has passed since we decided to hit it off as boyfriend and girlfriend, the word has spread not only in school, but throughout Willow Creek. Tabitha and I are both seen holding hands, kissing and spending lots of time together that I'm starting to feel better about myself. At the same time, Dan and Phil started to rekindle their love for each other. And that means, them having sex every night to make up for those lost moments. It's nice that they love each other but there are times where I see them in the worst conditions/positions like when I wanted to watch some tv, I literally can see them f****** on the couch (seriously, get a room!). Tabitha and I though, we are still taking it slow. We haven't done it yet and it's ok. We are waiting for the right time. My part time job though isn't going great due to the things in my plate. I tend to be a bit late and my performance has been a slightly sloppy but my boss knows that I have trial and final exams coming up so he knows what's going on.

This week though is a short school break due to some minor repairs in the school. Due to this, we have a few days off. Now, Tabitha, Eliza and I are at the underage bar, discussing what we should do on our little break while I serve their orders.

"What about we leave this joint!" Tabitha suggested. "Go to London and see the sights".

"Yeah but Dil and I went to London last month so it's just going to be a bit dud" Eliza said. "Besides, where are we going to stay? My Aunt is too busy being a doctor and I highly doubt Dan and Phil's friends are willing to accommodate us".

"Plus I heard that Liana is stressing out about this wedding so best not to visit them" I said.

Meanwhile in London (third person)
"No... No.... No..." Liana said as she starts to panic.

"What's wrong now?" Adrian asked as he's getting bored of his fiancé's panic attacks.

"Everything is not right!" Liana said. "The venues are fully booked and the dress isnt in season yet and... And..."

Liana starts to hyperventilate then started to trash her apartment. Adrian tried everything to calm her down but she's uncontrollable. Adrian wondered how his brother and Phil felt when they were arranging their wedding. He thought that since they were soulmates and long time best friends, it was easy to agree on everything.

But it wasnt...

2022 - 5 months before the wedding (Third person)
"Why can't we have black sheets?! Its a good colour!" Dan argued.

"Hey, this is not a funeral!" Phil yelled. "We need to show we are happy, not that someone died!"

"Whatever, but the venue... Why the same f****** location where you and your ex-wife got married?!" Dan asked. "What's wrong with the place I suggested?!

"It's too damm expensive!" Phil said. "Not to mention, Muse will be playing in our wedding! That covers like 55% of what we are spending!"

"Mistaken Philip! Muse is playing for free since I got connections with Bellamy!" Dan yelled.

This argument lasted for a while till they eventually made out and the conflict resolved. Even if Dan and Phil are best friends, finding something to correlate both of their taste for one major event of their lives was difficult as they both want different things. Dan's ideal plan was to stick to his aesthetic but Phil wanted something traditional. In the end, they did ask Martyn, Lousie, Liana and Adrian to help decide and find something that will match what they are going for.

NOW: (Dil's P.O.V)
"So, what now?" Tabitha asked.
