Chapter 26: The Secret of Willow Creek

[A/N: I'm soo tired... Writing so many stuff (still fun though)... But that's what happens when you wrote the very first Dil Howlter Phan Fic]

Eliza's P.O.V:
Still shocked on what Bob did to me back in Magnolia Park back then but after overhearing Dil telling his friends that he's going back to London during his break, I knew that something is up. Sure, Dil may be going through a lot here in Willow Creek, especially since the final exams are fast approaching, but he needs to know that as his friends, we are always there for him. At the same time, I noticed that Erica isn't coming anywhere near him. This is slightly odd since according to a few of my friends, back then before Dil went missing, she was trying to figure out why Erica's seductiveness isn't affecting him but other guys.

Did she give up?

I decided to talk with Summer at her house about this since she is the last person Dil has talked to... back when things were normal. Back when I moved from Cardiff to this small suburban area near Lancashire.

"Ever since he ran away, everything that's going on right now, things are becoming strange" Summer told me. "Normally, if something like this happens, things would resume to normal. Besides Dylan, there were cases of missing people in Willow Creek, only around 3 were broadcast in the news".

"But Dylan's disappearance was also broadcast!" I replied. "What makes this any different?"

"Well... back then, the people missing are mostly kids, teenagers, a few business men back in the day but no one with a big name" Summer said. "My guess, since Dylan is Dan and Phil's son and they have a big name not only in the UK but internationally as well, that might have something to do with it!"

"That's crazy!" I said.

"Remember, none of this happened since you and the Howell-Lester Family moved into Willow Creek!" Summer said. "There were a few international businessmen with big names that visited Willow Creek and some of them were missing. From there, nothing happened".

"We need to go to London! Dylan is still there!" I said.

"First of all, why? Second of all, where would he be?" Summer asked.

"Dylan is hiding something and I need to know what it is" I said with that determined tone. "I know he's in London right now with his family and I've been a phandom member for a while so Twitter stalking... It will take a while for me to use that skill into action".

"Wait... You didn't know?" Summer asked. "I thought your aunt told you?"

"Know what?" I asked.

Summer told me to come closer as its a huge secret. Only her, Dylan, his family, Dan and Phil's friends and the parties involved know. Summer told me to not tell anyone, not to Bob or Travis or anyone in Willow Creek and beyond. I guess its really this confidential that it has to be remained in a small area.

"Dylan just figured out who his birth father is and his sister is still alive" Summer said softly. "Turns out, ex-councilman Preston Chappa is his dad and Erica is his sort off half sister".

Dylan's birth father is alive... And lives here? The old councilman... That's his father? And Erica... I guess thats why he's unaffected by her. I can now see why he decided to go back to London for a while. It also does explain why things are different. But from all of the people here, why is Summer unaffected? I'm not affected because I was born in Cardiff. Bob... we met when we were young but I remembered... He moved away after the second grade so he has more experience there... Hence why he's also acting weird.
