Chapter 15: The New Girl

Chapter 15: The New Girl

Dil's P.O.V:

"Hi, My Name is Elisa Pancakes.its nice to meet you all" a girl said on front of the class.

The new girl has arrived to the school and introduced herself in my homeroom as she's in my class. I can't believe that Erica made me her transfer buddy! But she's the school leader so I can't do anything. Elise came to me after homeroom and asked me to help go to her classes. I didn't enjoy it that much as Summer is giving me weird looks. We arrived at Elisa's first class which is Biology.

"Thanks... Um..." she said.

"Dylan Howell-Lester" I said.

"Howell-Lester?" She said. "Wait... You're Dan and Phil's child! Oh my Aunt talks a lot about Dan".

Elisa left and I was in confusion as I was going to my music class. I was confused, what does she mean her 'aunt'? I know Dan and Phil have friends in London besides their youtube friends like my old neighbour Liana (who my uncle Adrian is dating) and there's Eliana who was Phil's ex-wife but is there someone who was crushing on Dan.

Elisa keeps coming to me now and then it was ok but Summer isn't feeling good about it. During the breaks, me and Summer tries to hang out together but Elisa keeps going to us. I know that I'm her transfer buddies but there are times I need my space.

"Hello" she said.

"Hi" me and Summer said.

"I'm sorry but you are the only person I know" she said. "And I know you're thinking that Erica is sending me here..."

"Wait... You think Erica is a..." Summer asked.

"You kidding? I saw her flirting one guy to another in some of my classes" she said. "But I come to you Dylan as my aunt knows your father... Well, Dan... And she told me that I should meet you. It was my Aunt who talked to the school for you to be my transfer buddy so I'm sorry if I'm intervening".

SATURDAY...

"Come on! Let's see what's in this capsule!" Phil said.

"Phil, are you sure that's safe?" Dan asked.

Me and folks found some strange rocks in our place. We cracked a few of them and it was just some rocks. However, the 2nd rock we found, it was some capsule. I found it and Phil was so eager to open it but Dan doesn't want to. But I opened it anyway. It was a small statute of a character named 'Poppy'. We left it in the kitchen and Dan was relieved that nothing bad happened.

Dan's P.O.V:

"Let's go to the gym" I said. "We didn't visit much of the town and it would be great for us to get healthy and... Stuff".

"Are you sure?" Phil asked.

"I don't mind" Dil said. "It wouldn't mind working out".

This was a shock for me and Phil but Dil was really eager to go. What made him change? I thought he was like me and Phil but he must be changing... For some reason.

So the whole family went to the gym and Dil walked to the chair lifts...*

... And me and Phil just went to the treadmill. But a few moments later, Dil saw a red haired girl on some seats. And for me, she looks very familiar... Or at least her face. I then saw Dil talking to her and we came to him.

"So, who's your new friend?" I asked.

Dil saw me and pushed me to the girl. I had no idea why but he then told me that someone in her family knows him. That scared me a bit. It could be an ex phandom member back in my youth.

"Who is this person?" I asked.

"You may know her" said the girl. "She said that you two were friends... You two met back in 2014".

"What's her name?" I asked.

"Sophie... Sophie Pancakes" she said. "Here's a photo of you two back when you two met".

I saw the photo... and I was really young. It was in a club. She looked really familiar and very pretty. Phil then came and it seems like he knows her.

"Isn't that Sophie... The girl you sort off dated when I was with Ellie?" Phil asked.

I looked and it really was Sophie. Sophie is the girl I used to date from time to time. She first rejected me but then we had a one night stand when Phil moved out. Our relationship was weird and sort off inappropriate but it was the only thing I can do when Phil was married to someone else before me.

Ah Sophie...

"Dan, don't tell me you miss her?" Phil asked.

"I kinda do" I said. "The last time we met was during our wedding as she was just a guest 12 years ago".

Summer's P.O.V:

I was passing by the town and I then saw Dil with that girl. And his parents are with him. I'm guessing that what Erica said was true... that he will be into her. This made me feel bad. Wasn't I good for him. Is it because we were constantly being interrupted by others. I had no other choice... I have to break it off.

I texted him and I walked away.

Dil's P.O.V:

"I have a boyfriend by the way" Elisa said. "That's another reason why I moved here besides the fact of my scholarship".

My phone vibrated and it was Summer. She told me that it was over. I then looked at the window and saw her walking away. I ran and tried to catch up with her... And I did.

"Summer, what's wrong?" I asked.

"You don't need me" she said. "Erica was right, you are into Elisa".

"No! That's not true!" I said.

"Yeah right! Your parents are chatting with her! She has a family member who is a friend of Dan... I can't compete with that!" Summer said. "I'm sorry but you don't need me".

Summer left and I was just standing there. She thought I was falling for Elisa Pancakes. I'm not! I loved Summer! We almost kissed, we almost 'done it' so what made her think that I was falling for Elisa.

But I was just standing in the sidewalk, feeling upset on what just happened but I'm just shocked to see what just happened to me.

Am I really that alone...
