There were a lot of things about the events of today that just didn't add up for me. First, what Ethan and Chandler's problems were; Second, the idea that Harper had been to my fathers place without me; and third, how the names on the paper Kenneth had given me, meant anything.

"I know that name" I murmured in my bed flipping said paper over in my hands, "How do I know that name?"

Sue me, I liked talking to myself; it beat talking to other people who didn't know exactly what I was thinking.

Grabbing my laptop, I typed 'Jeffrey Micheal Wells' into the Wall street database I had happily hacked into freshman year and came up blank. With a name like that, how couldn't this guy be into investments?

Steeling myself, I opened up the database that Ethan forbade me from using as it was "obtrusive" and "hella scary". In all honesty, sometimes I had to do background checks on people and this database, better than the FbI's mind you, could help me find anything on anyone...no matter who they were.

Just with their name, I could find things that they probably never knew were out there about them and, while it was something that kind of freaked me out to have, it came in handy in instances like this...not that there were many of these instances.

I waited as my computer flipped through information and images, letting out a breath once it finally stopped on one particular image.

The first thing I noticed were the electric blue eyes and the joking smile .

"I knew it!"

Jeffrey Wells was Jude's dad! I couldn't believe I had forgotten the tidbit of information that Jude, himself, had told us when he had us investigate what was going on with Dana...

"Dana" I whispered to myself picking up the piece of paper and reading it over.

Why did Harper have a piece of paper with Jude's fathers name on it, with her?

"You have to go talk to Ethan" I jumped as the familiar voice sounded and I quickly shut my laptop as Chandler sauntered into my room with a glare.

"I will" I murmured looking around slightly, "Just give me a second"

"You're a jerk" my eyebrows furrowed at Chandler's harsh tone, "Yeah, you heard me perfectly. You suck"

I refrained from saying anything back and looked over at the bright yellow piece of paper beside me just as Chandler's eyes zeroed in on it. I made a move to yank it away but Chandler was too quick as he didn't have a laptop he had to maneuver around.

"Why do you have a piece of a birth certificate?" Chandler murmured giving me a look that yelled "You're a freak"

"It's not mine" I snapped standing up to grab it, "how do you know it's a birth certificate?"

Chandler smiled to himself and shrugged, "I had mine reprinted three years ago to make sure my brothers had just been pulling my legs when they told me my parents had found me in the middle of a Mcdonald's"

"That's a horrible thing to tell your littler brother"

"They're horrible people" Chandler laughed almost forgetting that he was angry with me, "Why do you have this? Is this the big important thing?"

I bit the bottom of my lip and took a deep breath. I knew that there was no way for me to figure out what this sheet of paper had to do with Harper or why she had been at my dad's place all on my own. Hell, sometimes geniuses needed help.
