"So let me get this straight; you had a half brother who you completely knew about, all this time, but told no one of?"

Chandler's angry eyes bore holes into Andrew's forehead and he slowly nodded, "Well it sounds really bad when you put it that way"

"Does Ethan know?" I murmured already having my answer as Andrew looked away.

The moment Trent entered the apartment, the atmosphere did a complete 360. Where Chandler's presence had lightened my mood, Trent's made me anxious. He was another part of Andrew's life that had been kept a secret up until twenty minutes ago and there was seriously no way to treat this situation.

"So...you're his girlfriend?" Trent coughed slightly and toyed with the cup of tea I had placed in front of him. What kind of person drank tea at any other time than Christmas; aka the designated time for Californians to pretend they didn't have the best weather all year round?

I nodded slowly and smiled, "Yes. I am"

"Andrew was always the one to go for the pretty ones; remember when you had that crush on your third grade teacher because you thought her nose was cute?"

"That was my fourth grade teacher" Andrew grunted, "My third grade teacher looked like an Armadillo"

Chandler let out a slight bubble of laughter at this and I thanked God that Andrew was relaxing. Even though his voice lacked any and all emotion, it meant everything that he was joking.

"And I'm sorry that I left, Drew" Trent murmured, turning to face his brother, "But when she died...I didn't know what to do and dad wasn't any help~"

"Can we not do this, right now?" Andrew sighed running a hand through his hair, "Move onto something else. Please"

Trent nodded slowly and rubbed his hands on his black jeans, "How's Seth? I've missed the little guy"

"He's actually about to be a father" Chandler grinned much to Andrew's dismay.

"Are you serious?" Trent's jaw dropped, "I never figured Seth would be the first out of all of us to get married"

"He isn't married" Andrew snapped, "Tell grandma he's a sinner"

With that perfect comment, Andrew quickly got up and left the room. I gulped as he slammed the door to my bedroom shut and turned to Chandler, "I think we should let him calm down a bit"

"I know this must be so weird but...Andrew and I used to be really close" the only indicator that Trent was much older than Andrew was the loving way in which he spoke.

It was the kind of affection that only an older sibling, or someone who had come to mean that much, could exercise. It was the kind of affection I felt every single time I was with Jude. It was so pure, so sweet...but so sad when it came to them.
