It's still dark and quiet outside when Lisa's phone wakes her. At first, she assumes it's her alarm and drowsiness is slowing her movements to turn it off, but when she peels her eyes open to see that daylight has not broken through her curtains yet, she quickly realises someone is ringing her.

Fatigue disperses after that. Her body snaps up as she answers the calls from her boss.

"Jisoo?" Her voice is still thick and heavy with sleep despite her mind and body coming around quickly.

"Lisa, Ruby Jane has been spotted. We think she's trying to leave the country. We need you now."

"Okay. I'm coming now. Where?" Lisa is already getting out of bed and finding her clothes.

"I'll text you the address and send a car for you. Hurry," her superior commands just before ending the call.

Lisa gets ready in record time and is out of the door just as her phone buzzes with a message from Jisoo and a car is pulling up outside her house.

"Do you know where you're going?" She asks the driver, who nods in response.

Her leg bounces in anticipation as she opens Google Maps and types the address that Jisoo had sent her so she could scope out the place ahead of arriving there. The second she gets a visual, she knows this isn't going to be easy. The place was a construction site, bound to be deserted at this time, yet still, there would be many places for the target to hide and evade. Still, Lisa was determined, even if it meant putting a bullet in her target's head there and then.

At this hour, the roads are quiet and the driver is able to get to the destination fast with no traffic and exceeding speed limits. There's a group of about four people as Lisa gets out of the car and approaches them.

"Lisa, good you're here," Jisoo greets her with a nod.

"How do we know she's here?"

"A security guard working night duty nearby reported the disturbance, which was then pinged to us."

"Are we sure it's her?"

"I did the visual confirmation myself," Jisoo confirms.

"Why would she be here? How can she leave the country from here?"

"The security guard also reported noise that matches a light aircraft. We instructed him not to check it out, but as far as we're aware, it's still here."

"How long ago was this? Shouldn't she be gone by now?"

"Not that long ago. No more than thirty minutes. But you're right, she should have left by now. We don't know what she's waiting for, but your orders are to capture her alive, if possible."

Lisa looked around at the group, again noting that there is only a handful of people. "Is this everyone?"

"This was all I could get at this hour with a case this classified. Everyone here is highly trained. It shouldn't take anyone more. The plane is located North of the site, but she could be anywhere. Stay on your guard and communicate on your walkies. Everyone split up."

A murmur of acknowledgement rang through the group just as everyone split off into their separate ways and entered the construction site, where only a few post lights lit their way.

Lisa pulled her gun out, keeping it close to her chest as she moved deeper into the site, occasionally talking through her walkie to let everyone know where she was. Her path was by no means clear, and with little light to guide her, it was proving difficult for her to watch where she was walking, whilst simultaneously observing her surroundings for a killer, especially with the incessant feeling that she was being watched.
