Chapter 28.

Scarlett
It's been 3 days since i moved in, i have everything i needed now which means i can stay in my apartment all the time, i dont want to leave. When i went out shopping all i could see was Kendall and Calum, their faces on every magazine with titles like, 'Calum and Scarlett over as Calum finds new romance'and 'Step aside Scar, Kendall's in charge now',im so done with the media. They never ask for anyones side of the story they just go ahead and publish the first thing that they see.

Its been almost 3 weeks since i checked my twitter so i decide ill log in and just see what's happening around the world. I decide to check Calum's twitter first, the last thing he tweeted was a sad face emoji and that was a week after i left, he was probably reffering to the tour managers not ordering him pizza or something. Next i check the trends, #WheresCalum is trending third, what the? I click on it and see dozens of tweets saying that Calum wasnt at tonights show, oh well. He was probably just to busy sucking faces with Kendall.

Calum
Im here. Home. Australia. Im even closer to Scarlett. The first thing im going to do is get a taxi to her house. I need to see her.

I get to Scarletts house and grab my bag out of the taxi. Theres a sign stuck into her front lawn, i leave my bag on the sidewalk and walk over to it, 'Auction this Friday', i run to the front door and knock as loud as i can, no answer. I run to the tree near her bedroom window, as i climb it i remember the night i brang her snacks and movies and slept next to her for the first time, i get to her window and look into her bedroom, all of her stuff is gone. 'No no no no', is all i manage to say, where is she?

I grab my suitcase and run as fast as i can until i get home, i open the door and see my mum and Mali sitting at the dining table, neither of them knew i was coming home, 'Where is she?', i ask, one of them must know where she is, 'Calum what are you doing here? You're supposed to be on tour', my mum says, 'Where is Scarlett?', i say, 'Calum, she wants to be alone', Mali tells me, 'Mali, you dont know how important it is for me to see her right now, where is she', i tell her, 'She moved, she told me the other day but she didnt tell me where she was moving too', she tells me, 'I have to find her', 'Cal, you cant. She's gone. No one knows where she is', 'Fine', i say and walk up to my old bedroom, if Mali wont help me find Scarlett, i'll find her myself.

Scarlett
'Hey can i come see your new place? x', Mali texts me, i dont want to say yes because i want to be alone but i love Mali, she is good company. 'Yeah sure! x', 'Whats the address? x'.

I'm just about to go for a shower when theres a knock at the door, i didnt think Mali would get here that quickly. I look through the peephole and no ones there, weird. I open the door and step into the corridoor, and there he is.

He's just standing there, and so am i. We both look lifeless as we just stare at eachother, 'W-what are you doing here?', i ask, 'I had to see you', he replies, 'You texted me? Not Mali?', 'Yes, i had to. That was the only way i was going to find you', i dont know what to say to him. 'Can i come in? I will explain everything', he says. I nod.

'Nice place', he says, 'I know, sit, please. Tell me where we went wrong', i say. 'Scarlett, Kendall came to the hotel looking for you, i told her to come in and wait for you and she had a few glasses of wine and she just pushed herself onto me. I wish that she didnt even come into the hotel room that night, i should've just told her to leave, im sorry', he explains, 'What about all the times you guys were together afterwards? All the magazines and news articles?', i ask, 'She kept hanging around me, i didnt want her there but i didnt want to he rude', he says, 'Where is she now?', 'I dont know. I told her she had to leave because we were never an item and i couldnt stand her being there anymore, and she left', he says, 'Oh', is all i manage to say.

'So, where do we go from here?', he asks.
