A date with Chase and Taylor

It was finally Sunday. We were walking towards the ship. Rachel wasn't able to come because she was in detention, she had "accidentally" electrocuted Annie
"It was worth it" she had told us
"So ,I have a question" Chase said interrupting my thoughts, Chase had become one of my boy best friends, my other boy best friend was Bryan (duuh)
"Let's play the question game" I say
"Yes!" He said " I start. Pizza or pasta?" He asked
"The one that has more cheese" I answer "peanut butter or Nutella?" I asked
"Peanut butter" he answered "rock or punk?"
"Rock" I answered "apple or banana?"
"Banana" he answered "Peter Pan or Robin Hood?"
"Peter Pan. Would you jump off a plane with no parachute?"
"No. Will you go out with me?"
"Yes" I say "wait what?" I looked at him and smiled "well played my friend"
"Thank you" he said and we both laughed
I looked at my outfit. Jeans, converse and a blue shirt
"By the way, thanks for lending me your shirt" I say
"No prob" he said "it wasn't your fault that Rachel burned all of your shirts" he smiled
"She only burned "the ugly" ones" I say " so basically she burned 12 of 17"
"Why didn't you wanna wear one of the 5 you have left?" He asked
"Cause, they're too girly" I say
"Hey" someone said from behind, let. Let me describe the voice to you... British accent

"What's up?" I asked and he got next to me
"Definitely things that aren't down here" he said and I laughed
"Hey guys wanna go do something productive?" I asked
"Uuuuuuuuuuu sorry" Bryan said "can't do it, my sister needs someone to take care of her"
"How old is she?" Chase asked
"Six" he said "the lady that always takes care of her is sick so I have to take care of her"
"Don't worry Bryan" I say in my British accent "there will be a next time"
He laughs
"I know I've asked this like a billion times but, are you sure you're not from England?"
I laughed
"Yes" I said while smiling

"What time is it?" I asked
"5 o'clock" he said
"Shiiiiiiii- shiny" I say "I'm sorry Chase I have to go, thanks for the date" I walk away "it was awesome" I yell and then I head to Nina's pizzas
When I arrive I see Taylor sitting in our usual table
"What's up green eye?" I asked while sitting on my usual seat
"Nothing much" he said "where were you?" He asked
"On a date" I say
"Aww wittle Woxanne was on a pwetty date" he said like a baby
We both laugh and after a few seconds of silence he spoke up
"Roxy" he said in a serious tone "were friends right?"
I nodded
"Are we best friends?" He asked
"Well we're not exactly that close" I say "I mean you killed my granny after all"
"I told you ,I forgive the kid" an older woman's voice said next to me I turn around and I see my granny
"Where have you been lately?" I asked
"Rox who the hell are you talking to?" Taylor asked
I panicked so I grabbed my phone and I acted like if someone was calling me
"Where the hell have you been?" I asked and I look at my granny
"Who are you talking to?" My granny asked
"You" I say and I look at her, she looks a bit confused for a second
"Oooooooh I get it now" she said and smiled "I was watching over you" she answered
"What does that mean?" I asked
"For God's sake just forgive the kid already" she said and pointed at Taylor "I was gonna die anyways" she said in the most careless tone ever "besides his one of the good guys"
"Good guys?! Him?!" I asked surprised
"Who's one of the good guys?" Taylor asked
"My mom'a boyfriend" I say glad I saved that one "I really hate my mom's boyfriend and she's telling me he's one of the good guys"
"I don't think he's one of the good guys" I say looking at my granny again
"Why can't you just see it?" My granny asked a little bit too stressed
"See what?" I asked
"What you have in front of you" he said and got next to Taylor
"I have no idea what you're talking about" I say confused "well anyways I have to go I'm in a very important meeting right now, bye"
"Don't you unrealistically hang up on my" my granny warned put I did it anyways
"You were saying" I say clearing my throat and getting back to Taylor
"So you, by any chance, know if there's a Shadow Gifted at the PAG Institute?" He asked me
I was about to say yes but then I remembered my dream, my friends dead
"No" I answered and then I saw his eye turning green and then he said
"Tell me the truth"
"There is only one Shadow Gifted in the school" I said involuntarily
"Who is this person?" He asked
I was silent for a while
"Tell me now" he demanded
I was resisting, I didn't want to tell him
