Asuka: Everyone ready?
Rei/Hikari/Toji/Kensuke:(nods)
It's been forty years since Shinji has locked himself in the NERV Japan headquarters.
During that time, Shinji and Eva 01 have only been seen destroying any Evangelion-related facilities or defending earth from Angels who for some reason kept on showing up, until a year ago.
Rei: A.T disrupter charged.
Asuka: On my signal.
The children of Evangelion, those who piloted Eva's have shown signs of slowed aging.
By the age of twenty, no signs of physical development were noticed.
Asuka: Go.
(TSSSSSS)
Toji: Let's go!
Kensuke: Righty-O!
Despite his promise, Shinji had shown no sign of coming out of hiding. Even when Misato Katsuragi passed away a year ago.
Asuka: It's open! Go, go, go!
The five enter the NERV HQ through a pipeline after laser sawing it open.
Behind them, the A.T field barrier regenerated, but it was already too late.
The five, through the tunnels in the HQ, made their way to the central dogma.
To get there, the five original tried going through the Geofront.
However, upon entering, they were in shock.
Asuka: What...
Toji: THE FUCK!?
The Angels which went missing not too long ago were all in the Geofront performing different activities.
Like dogs in a park.
The only one missing from the group was Sachiel.
Watching over them was Eva 01, who glanced in the direction of the five to find them all gone.
Deciding to take a longer route, the five went around and under to arrive at the main section of NERV.
When they reached the main area of NERV HQ, the five found the walls to be riddled with writing in blood.
Most were equations that not even the smartest of the group could properly comprehend, the rest was random words.
Kensuke: "Ramiel is best girl"?
Hikari: "Note to self: Can you punch reality?"
Toji: "Note to self: Do NOT punch reality, again."
Rei: "I see a little silhouetto of a man"?
In the distance: Scaramouch, Scaramouch, will you do the Fandango! Hahahaha!
Everyone:!?
Asuka: Come on.
The five continue onwards, eventually arriving in the war room, where they discovered holograms of poorly constructed robots.
Kensuke: Jeez... He's really gone off the deep end.
Hikari: Kensuke!
Kensuke: What? I'm right! Just look at this, what even are these things.
???: The audience.
Everyone:?
A female voice spoke, causing them to look around.
Asuka: Hello? Who's there!?
