"Did you see that, folks? An amazing cut formed by the steel eagle. The fight has just begun, but both combatants look ready to rumble. LET ME HEAR YOU CHEER FOR THEM!" Himpus roared.
People roared out cheers.
"YOU CAN DO IT, HUNTER!" Kotoha roared.
"Wow, some vocal cords on you." Angelise blinked in awe.
"It is quite magical, isn't it?" Librisca grinned.
"I love those roars, Kotoha. Let's go!" Delilah said, strumming her guitar, doing the devil's horns hand sign into the air."So you do have a sword, huh?" Hunter grinned as blood leaked from the cut over his nose.
"You moved out of range just fast enough. I was aiming for your eyes." Ilfri moved into stance again with a grin. Hunter laughed softly as the sphere of blood wrapped around him like a snake, lying its bloody head on his shoulder.
"Now, come at me." Hunter grinned.
"Steel eagle, martial second form-" She flew forward at incredible speed.
"Umbral liquid-" The sphere began to bubble.
"Wing sweep!"
"Net!" The two threw their ability at each other. She karate-chopped the net with a sideways palm. The shining metal on the outside of her fingers gleamed in the sun, and the net was cut in half.
"Followed by martial third form. Beak pummel!" She thrust her hand with a spear thrust forward, allowing the tip of her fingers to strike into his abdomen. The tip of her fingers was a small ring of skin around the metal. He coughed hard as the hand was thrust into his stomach. He grinned as he moved his hand up, allowing the blood to form into small spikes.
"No, you don't!" She thrust her other hand forward, hitting the same spot once again with a spear-thrust strike. She continued to make this motion again and again in quick successions. He couldn't control the blood at all as his focus was disrupted by the pain. He quickly moved a hand down and grabbed her incoming hand, bleeding from his hand as he touched the sharp outside of her fingers, but he stopped her hand.
"Umbral liquid, gunpowder!" He shouted as his blood on the hand glowed up and then boom, exploded into fire, sending them flying away from each other. She landed on the ground, rolling a few meters before sliding, using her foot, and standing up. Hunter slowly got up, rolling his hand over his arm, cutting long deep wounds into it.
"You know, I thought it was fun at first, you know?" Hunter walked toward her as blood leaked down over his arm.
"But even I lose my patience, girl." He grinned as the blood started to drip on the ground.
"Something is off." She looked at him with a cautious glint in her eyes.
"Umbral liquid-" The blood on his arm began to bubble and shoot into the air, becoming a lot of small spheres, levitating around him.
"Chakram rage!" Hunter shouted as all the spheres turned into small chakrams. HE moved his hand forward as all of them shot at her, spinning at high speed. She moved her hands up.
"Steel eagle, blade sixth form-" She slowly lowered her body, making one arm going diagonally up into the air and one down toward the ground.
"Murder of crows!" She quickly moved up, doing a spin as she hit the chakrams with the side of her hands, deflecting them.
"Think you can defend against it, huh?" Hunter moved his arm up, allowing blood to fall down over his arm.
"While you're having fun there. It's time for me to finish this." He moved his arm forward, clenching his fist, pointing it at her as he gripped his elbow with his other arm, steadying the arm. She continued to deflect all the chakrams as they kept coming back toward her after deflection.
"Umbral liquid-" His arm began to turn red as it was slowly got covered in his own blood. He then opened his hand slowly as the blood crept over his hand and became a compressed ball of blood levitating just off his palm. The blood kept going into the sphere, but it didn't become larger. It was so compressed down to nanometers or even smaller. She kept spinning around, deflecting the incoming blades, but suddenly all of them flew back toward him, turning into long strips of liquid before compressing into the ball too.
"W-what?" She looked toward him, not realizing he had been up to something.
"Railgun!" He shouted as the ball shot forward, moving at an unfathomable speed. It pierced her shoulder, sending her flying with immense speed over the arena into the wall. The ball hit the wall too, making a perfectly circular hole in the wall, but the pressure had made giant cracks appear around the little hole.
