The silence around the arena in the sky was broken by the sound of a melody. Vindur was lying on the ground, whistling. His blinded eyes were staring into nothing, but the whistle was recognizable.

Iliya was standing in the old arena. She wasn't staring into the sphere, but she was staring at the platform.
"Iliya?" Kotoha looked at her, but the girl just held up a finger.
"Do not speak for a moment, dear," Iliya said.

Jessica stood up, looking down upon Vindur.
"Why are you whistling again?" Jessica growled.
"This sound use to strike fear into people's hearts..." Vindur stopped for a moment to speak and then slowly slammed his fist into the ground, rising himself slightly off the ground. Blood leaked down upon the ground from all of his open wounds. His knee slowly slid over the ground as he placed his foot on the ground. The only clothing left on him was his pants, broken so much down that they were even shorter than shorts. The whistling echoed as he slowly slammed his other foot to the ground, revealing his upper body and face. His eyes were completely red, and his usual white hair was stained red. Some of the skin on his cheek was removed, revealing his teeth behind it. There were three holes in his upper body. One around the heart and some of his body were missing on his left hip and around his right shoulder. One of his legs was slightly limp and dangling, and he had lost around three fingers on his right hand. He chewed a bit and then spit out a large ball of slime and blood and then continued his whistling.

"T-that man," Leaun said in disbelief.
"That is hardcore..." Delilah said.
"V-vindur." Kotoha covered her mouth, looking at him.

Vindur slowly spread out his arms, feeling the soft breeze touch his wounds, making the blood leak out.
"Y-you know what?" Vindur said as he moved one arm up, letting it run through his hair, making a large puddle of blood drip from it.
"What?" She asked confusedly and almost awestruck as she saw this man, not even a man at this point, this walking corpse, stand up once more.
"I've been in the light for so long that I've forgotten the comfort of being in the darkness." He said as he softly placed a hand across of his eyes, making it clear he was talking about his sight.
"Iliya Hanabi was and is the light of my world, yet right now, I can't see what expression she is wearing, but I feel her presence. Not in the arena but in Betamorion." Vindur said, spreading out his arms again, enjoying the wind on his skin.
"You can feel her presence in Betamorion. She brought a change of air to our nation and brought it back on the right path. I've been walking by her side for so long, and at this moment, it will stop." Vindur said, adjusting himself slightly.
"I don't have a sword anymore...turned to ash." He said as he looked down. He could still hear whistling.

The whole human crowd was whistling the tune of the ripper. Iliya too.

"So, you are giving up?" Jessica grinned wildly.
"No, I will most likely die from these wounds, but if I can take you down before I die. I can secure a win!" Vindur shouted as he clenched his left hand.
"Hanabi!" He shouted as he drew a sword created of pure wind.
"Hanabi. Named after the ability that killed a God, ay?" Jessica clenched her lone fist, allowing green lightning to move across the platform.
"You must really be dying if you can't feel the magic in your body resisting you." Jessica grinned.
"I'm on pure adrenaline right now," Vindur said, moving his sword forward, holding it with his lone hand.

Vindur took a step forward, cutting out the sound of the whistling and just allowing the melody to echo in the back of his head. He felt that for every limping step he took, his body was rejecting life.
