Angelise ran toward Faust with a big grin, leaving a trail of black goo and purple mist behind her, having her arms spread out far. Faust laughed as he looked at her.
"OROCHI!" Faust roared as the bones shot out of his body, becoming the sword again. He grabbed the blade with one hand, laughing. He took a deep breath as the spine curled up his arm, sucking out his blood, empowering him.
"So you are serious now, huh?" Faust asked as he stomped the ground, swinging his sword from behind his back, over his head, and downwards in an arc.
"OROCHI'S FANG!" He roared, swinging the sword with all his might, making a giant blade shoot out the sword. Angelise dodged to the side, grasping a ball of the black goo.
"Black death-" She swung it forward as the liquid stretched out become a blade of black goo.
"Sickcutter!" Faust grinned as he swung his arm up, allowing it to block the goo, burning and bubbling as his jacket completely evaporated. He laughs, stomping the ground, swinging his sword once more.
"Orochi, SIC EM!" The sword extended, chasing Angelise. Angelise dodged under the sword, coughing slightly as her mouth began to bleed. She kicked off the ground, flying toward him.
"Black death-" She made another ball in her hand, swinging it forward.
"Sickcutter!" She shouted. He dodged to the side and spun around afterward, kicking her in the snot, sending her flying across the field. Faust roared as he jumped after her, swinging his sword from over his head down toward her. She looked up and saw the blade come down toward her like a whip. She quickly moved a leg up and, at the last second, kicked the side of the sword, sending her flying to the side, dodging the blade barely. She slid over the ground, allowing a pool of purple liquid to lie there, bubbling. She roared as she slammed her fist into the ground.
"Black death. Ocean of disease!" She shouted as the pools bubbled and then moved up, becoming waves of disease. Faust spun around, looking at it as he smiled.
"Orochi." He said, moving the blade back. He raised the sword and then grabbed it with both hands. The sword screeched at that feeling as all the bones rattled uncontrollably. Faust smiled.
"It's been a long time since I used both of my hands." He laughed maniacally as he swung the sword down.
"Shadow extract," He roared as he cut the air, bending reality for a moment and making all the waves break apart.
"Orochi. Do it." Faust grinned as the sword roared and shot the spine up into the air. It shot down into Faust's eyes and down through his body. Faust grinned as the sword began to dismantle and slowly get sucked into his body. Soon the sword was all gone.
"Ricky." Arti walked up to him. Ricky was sitting on a fence pole, looking out over the green fields of Saltorian.
"How many times do I have to tell you to call me Faust?" Ricky looked at him.
"Come now. It's like if you asked me to start calling water for fire. I'm just not built to call you Ricky." Arti laughed. Ricky shook his head and sighed.
"So, why are you out here?" Arti asked, placing a hand on the fence to make sure to not to walk into it.
"I don't know. I just needed some silence, you know?" Ricky smiled.
"That is nice. Sometimes you just need peace, don't you?" Arti smiled warmly, walking along the fence. Ricky stood up and walked along the fence, balancing as they talked.
"These peaceful days won't last, won't they?" Ricky asked.
"No. The sickness is spreading over Saltorian, and this is just one of the few places still safe. Unfortunately, we will soon have to take drastic measures into our hands if the chief scientist of the God can't figure out how to stop it. Then none can." Arti sounded serious. Ricky shrugged.
"It's fucked." Ricky said.
"Well, as long as you are Malmy are with me. I will always be safe." Arti smiled. Ricky blushed and looked away.
"How can you say emotional shit like that with a straight face, man?" Ricky asked.
"Well. I have always been the honest one of us three." Arti smiled as he walked along.
"That is true," Ricky said, walking. He was about to fall, but Arti's cane flew up, poking his leg, making him not fall.
"Sometimes I wonder if you are really blind, dude." Ricky laughed.
"Call it a sixth sense," Arti said with a smile, walking along the fence.
"A sixth sense?" Ricky asked.
"A sense that tells me when you need help. I will always be there for you when you're sad, Ricky." Arti smiled.
"Don't call me that," Ricky said with a sigh.
"Sorry, sorry." Arti kept walking.
