Librisca would slowly walk backward as the golem would stomp his way toward her. Eliyahu.
"This is looking bad. She can't fight something like that!" Damien shouted.
"An Immortal soldier, Eliyahu," Leaun said.
"She got this. YOU ROCK, LIBRISCA!" Delilah would shout. Iliya would look at the girl, stumbling back as the golem approached her.
"Come on," Iliya said.Librisca would begin to stumble and fall as she began to kick herself back instead of walking, crawling backward as the golem's shadow swallowed her being.
"Eliyahu," Malmy said. The golem would stop.
"Kill her," Malmy said. The golem would raise its hand, morphing it into what looked like a spiky mace. Librisca would look at the being. Its string would be that of a sentient layer, yet there was no life in the eyes. It was an animate object moving as a living. She had gifted a soul to an item. Librisca would look at the golem with awe. Librisca's soul would move forward, reaching for the string.
"A living...object," Librisca said as she stared at the golem's arm.
"Remember to use your cane, sweety." A woman said. She was holding the hand of a child. The child's blank stare would look into nothingness.
"Mom. They are back." The girl said. She could see it again. All the strings. It would obscure her vision.
"just ignore them. Focus on mommy." The girl said. The little girl would stare at her mother, trying to focus her gaze on the woman, but there were just too many strings. Too many flickered in front of her eyes.
"Mom." The little girl said. The mother would have let go of the child's hand and walked off. The girl could only see strings. There were just too many of them. They filtered through her vision. She had lived with it for around a month now since her ability awakened—the ability to see the fabric that kept the world together. The little girl would stare at it, confused. She would reach her hand out, trying to reach for one of them.
"I wish...I couldn't see them." She said to herself as one of the strings glowed more than the others. She felt something inside of her move as a hand reached out. The hand would wrap around the string and slowly pull on it. The string would vibrate as her vision would get blurry. She would pluck the string, and as it gave off a resounding sound, everything would turn black. The little girl would stare into the void of nothingness in front of her. She reached her hand in front of her face, but yet it didn't reach anything. An endless void in front of her. She wouldn't be able to see it. Her eyes had grown dark.
"I can't see." She said. Her voice longed for vision, yet this was somehow better than what she had felt a moment ago. She couldn't see the strings anymore, and I relieved her, but then it happened. Feint glows erupted in her vision. String everywhere. The void would be filled with these strings once again. She couldn't see them, but they were there.
"I can't see...but I can see them." She begins to sob. She couldn't escape these strings. She missed her mother's face. She missed being able to run through the garden, but she just couldn't see anything with all these strings. She would cry.
"I wish my mom was here." She cried as in the back of all the strings she saw a faint glow. One of the smallest strings in the back would be glowing slightly. She could feel herself reach out for it like it was beckoning her toward it. She would reach her hand far and long, trying to reach the strings with all her might. She tiny hand would reach out, stretching and stretching in the feint dark until her pinky would wrap around the single string. It was so far away. She would pull on it slightly and feel a vibration in the air as she suddenly heard her mom.
"Librisca?!" The mom called out.
"Mommy?!" The girl called out. Her mom looked down.
"Where am I...oh, there you are!" The mom would wrap her arms around the little girl. The girl would see the string faintly glow like reassuring her.
"You are not here to hurt me?" She asked. Her mom looked confused at her, but she didn't understand that the girl was talking the strings. All of them began to glow like they all smiled at her. She stared at them for a few seconds and then smiled.
"I want to see you..." She said lowly as a string very closer to her glowed. She reached out and instantly saw the world around her. The strings were there, but they seemed fainter now. She looked at her mother's face with a smile.
"Are you okay, dear?" The mother asked worriedly.
"Yes...I'm okay!" She shouted as all the strings lighted up.
