Alexander took one step forward, breaking the ground apart as he kept his eyes on Sakana. Sakana took a deep breath, holding the hilt of his katana, grasping it with all his might, trying to stop his quivering. Alexander softly lifted his arm, pointing at Sakana.
"This ground is my palace!" Alexander rose his hand into the air, making a large amount of yellow glow erupt from the ground.
"Babylon," Alexander said, spreading his fingers apart, making the glow spread apart, turning into five giant spheres in the air.
"What is that?" Sakana thought as he looked at them, twisting his wrist a bit.
"Better prepare it." Sakana thought as he took a deep breath.
"Babylon is the 100% power that I wield. This whole area is part of my arrogance and my kingdom. You-" He rose a hand into the air.
"WILL!-" He swung his hand down, making hundreds of chains made out of the glow shoot down toward Sakana.
"KNEEL!" Sakana looked at them all. He twisted his wrist a bit more.
"Water Iaijutsu. Eighth form-" All the chains shot at him.
"Muzzle shell!" He swung his sword in a lot of small quick swings, breaking the chains apart. The speed of his thrusts and swings made it look like a solid wall came between him and the chains. You could see water and droplets fly everywhere as he swung his sword. All of the chains broke apart as Sakana let out his breath, letting blood leak out too.
"IMpressive you survived the first wave." Alexander grinned as he rose a hand into the air again, summoning another army of chains, but this time twice the amount."It's an endless onslaught," Kotoha said worriedly.
"He will not survive," Moira said.
"Have some faith," Kotoha said.
"it's impossible. Look at the state he is in from protecting himself from half that amount. He will not survive twice." Moira coldly stated.
"You are wrong," Damien said.
"What do you base this on?" Moira asked.
"Knowledge." Damien grinned.
"Hey, master." Damien came walking through the halls of the monastery.
"Yes, child?" The Guru said with a warm smile.
"Have you seen Sakana?" Damien asked.
"He is training." The Guru turned toward the garden. Sakana was standing outside, holding his odachi in his hand.
"But it's raining?!" Damien looked worried.
"Sakana is trying to achieve the strongest power he ever could, child." The Guru walked toward the garden. Damien followed. Sakana just stood there, holding the hilt of his odachi and staring up at the rain.
"What is he wait-" Damien said.
"Silent child. Watch." The Guru said. Sakana kept his eyes on the sky. He took a deep breath. He was soaked to the skin, and his hair was hanging down his face in wet clumps.
"How long has he been standing out there?" Damien thought. Sakana kept his eyes on it, and after around five minutes of waiting, his eyes suddenly snapped open. He swung his sword at such a speed it seemed to move faster than the rain falling. Silence filled the air, and a second later, the rain stopped.
"What?" Damien looked confused, but The Guru looked proud with a wide smile.
"You finally managed to do it, Sakana." The Guru said. Damien turned to Sakana, and his eyes widened. On the tip of the sword was a single water drop. The rest of the blade was completely dry.
"Y-you caught a raindrop?" Damien asked.
"Not just a raindrop-" Sakana slowly tilted his sword, making the droplet roll down his sword toward the hilt.
"The last raindrop." Sakana smiled.
"Why even-" Damien looked confused.
"The amount of focus it takes to see the final raindrop and the precision to swing your sword only to catch that single one. Sakana is truly gifted with the sword. Water Iaijutsu was meant for you, child." The Guru said. Sakana smiled.Damien walked through the corridors of the monastery and knocked on Sakana's door.
"Yo, Sakana," Damien said. The door opened, and Damien's eyes widened. Inside was row after row of drenched and wet clothing. Endless amount, hanging to dry.
"What is it?" Sakana asked.
"I-" Damien looked at it all. He saw Sakana's fingers which were bruised and a bit red from strain.
"Yes, what is it?" Sakana asked.
"I'm not gonna lose to you!" Damien shouted, running away. Sakana watched him run away with a confused look, but then the confusion turned to a smile.
"Very well." Sakana smiled.
