Vermon had his eyes locked on Leaun, and suddenly the crowd began booing. A lot of females started to boo at Leaun for damaging VErmon's face.
"GO die!" A woman shouted.
"W-what?" Leaun looked around, confused.
"Do you not understand?" Vermon tilted his head. His eyes shone brightly red.
"I am not the charmer for nothing." He grinned, twirling his fingers and bending them slightly. The sakura blossoms began to move around the air.
"Be silent, my dear." Vermon's sakura blossom reached the woman who had shouted and placed itself on her cheek.
"I will be fine. Wounds heal." He smiled with a welcoming, caring smile, but you could sense it. Bloodlust.
"You get those weapons away from the spectators." Leaun jumped forward, swinging his sword with all his might.
"Absolute glacial fissure!" He shot a wave at Vermon, which was instantly crushed to bits as a lot of blossoms flew toward it, breaking it apart faster than before.
"Don't get greedy. I might have played around before, but you hurt my face. I will never forgive you!" Vermon looked at him with an over-the-shoulder look. Leaun jumped back as a lot of the flowers shot at him at once. He dodged as many as he could before he had to resort to deflection. He used the tip of the sword, which had been frozen solid, to deflect the flowers. It broke on contact but still deflected them. He kept up the fight by freezing the tip of the sword solid repeatedly.
"Senbonzakura-" Vermon moved a finger into the air as around twenty-five of them collected together, forming into the image of a sparrow.
"Sparrow!" He moved a hand down, shooting the bird forward, allowing it to fly past Leaun and try to hit him from behind. Leaun took a deep breath, allowing cold airy mist to shoot out of his nostrils as he exhaled, spinning his body, so his sword deflected three incoming petals from the front, and his free hand sent out a cone of ice, swallowing the bird. The three petals shot him through the air from the impact, making him land on the ground, rolling a few meters. The bird broke apart, and a few new petals rose from the fan in the ground.
"I must say that you can really tell you are an old soldier." Vermon kept guiding the petals around him like he was directing an orchestra. The pink petals flew in front of him, half obscuring the view of him from where Leaun was, making him look almost mystical.
"Your reflexes and combat tactics are so enhanced I'm actually impressed. I heard a lot about the conquest team. It was an old Betanian team that was tasked with expanding lands and taking resources. It was led by a person named the Watcher for all its years. It was abolished by the newest human ruler, Iliya Hanabi, for being too cruel and going against the human code that was invoked in Betamorion. Watcher was executed for trying to do a coup d'etat after the abolishment." Vermon laughed softly as all the petals rose into the air, turning into a giant cloud of pink.
"I must be honest with you. I don't see some second best as a worthy contender against me. I would rather have fought the Watcher." Vermon spread his fingers apart, allowing the pink cloud to break into five equally big pieces with two-hundred petals each.
"Senbonzakura-" The petals all twisted around each other in a tornado formation.
"Soft breeze." Vermon guided his hand down as all the tornados shot toward Leaun.
"You might be right. Watcher might have been stronger than me-" Leaun stood up, swinging his sword to the side, allowing a lot of ice to form on it until it became a giant sword made of ice. He grasped it with both hands and held it out in front of him in a long stance.

"Wait. hold up." Sakana looked at them in awe.
"What?" Damien looked down and looked at it in awe.
"That's-" Vindur looked surprised.
"This just got interesting." Angelise laughed out loud, slamming her hand on the railing.

"But, I've trained so many different ways that I can be a Watcher!" Leaun moved the giant sword into the air.
"Royal sword technique!-"

"That is the secret sword technique used by the late Caspar Jusis..." Sakana looked at it in awe.
"Most tales and stories and legends of the fight are stored in the monastery for keep-sake. So how did he learn that?" Damien looked in awe.
"Caspar Jusis was a brave man and a legend in the military even to this day. He is one of the founding fathers of Betamorion after all-," Vindur explained calmly.
"The Watcher mask was made to transfer memories. The old Watcher might have taught him through memory, or he might have just practiced with the little info he had." Vindur continued.
