𝘼𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚'𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙙 eyes fluttered open, her body shifting in her bedsheets as she pulls the blanket tight to her chest and buries her head deep into her soft, brocaded pillow.

She checks the time on her clock beside her and sighs as she stands up, missing the warmth she'd created within her comforter.

The sound of her feet padding across her room are the only supple noises as she yanks open the silky white curtains to reveal the true and radiant morning sun. Her eyes squinted as she tilts her head away from the golden sunrise, the abrupt light blinding her for a moment.

She looks out the glossy window, her almond brown eyes set deep within the beauty of the wildlife outside. She watches meticulously over the invisible spring air, a smile gracing her lips when she sees a single hummingbird perched on the bliss pink petal of the branch outside her window.

The sudden presence of her favorite red-head snaps her from her gaze and she turns around smiling.

"Hey Letty," she greets, "Did you take your medicine?"

Letty shakes her head and Nat puffs out an unsurprised laugh as she goes to get it for her. She takes the pills swallowing them down with tangy orange juice and tart strawberries that she pulls from the fridge.

"You have work?" Letty asks, stuffing the soft, red fruit in her mouth.

Natasha nods, "Yeah, Irene has been out so I've been keeping the diner open."

Nat worked at a small diner called Juniper's, taking after the sweet old woman's last name. It was always open to everyone on Saturdays for free ice cream and movies. It was the heart of Dewsbury- everyone loved it there.

"Make sure you turn in your book today, it was due. Also, take your medication and.... don't die," she throws the instructions at her as she snatches a strawberry and takes her keys, leaving the apartment.

Letty rolls her eyes, puffing out a laugh before she takes a steaming hot shower and gets dressed. She throws on a short white shirt that exposes her entire midriff, tying a sheer top with embroidered flowers over it and partnering it with a creamy white skirt that ends at her upper thigh.

Once she's ready, her blonde curls forming into their natural spirals from the breeze of the fresh air, she grabs her book and travels the cemented sidewalks, he bare feet loving the cold feel beneath them.

Finally, the brown stone building of the library comes into sight, flowers and vines hanging over the arch of the walkway, closing in on the name of the store. She walks in, the bell making a pleasant ring as she steps inside.

The fresh smell of dry paper and carpet fills the atmosphere, tons of bookshelves coming into sight that are organized decorativley. She walks to the front desk, setting her book down on the top as she smiles down at the small girl sitting on the floor behind it.
