𝙄𝙫𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨 over Peter to the plate of spaghetti on the table, spooning some into her plate until it's mostly full with that and garlic bread.

"Didn't your mother ever tell you to eat your vegetables?" Nat chimes playfully, scooping some green beans onto her plate.

"No actually, she fed me peppermints when I was teething."

Letty takes a small amount of pasta as well, her appetite somewhat replenished from when she took her pills that morning. She takes a piece of garlic bread, biting into the crunchy edge of the buttery food.

She sits in the seat between James and Ivy, James at the head of the table as well as Steve on the other end. Peter sits next to Nat on the far side, right across from Ivy, and Nat takes the seat between him and Steve.

Sprinkling a heavy amount of parmesan onto her pasta, Ivy starts to point to the ceiling. Above them was a small chandelier, reflecting the pale light from the mechanical bulbs. "That's fucking insane Bucky. I didn't know you were rich. I never thought I'd be drinking soda out of fancy cups."

Nat laughs, "James here is full of surprises. Did you know he has a cat?"

"Yeah," Ivy says matter-of-factly. "Alpine is my absolute favorite."

"Wait- you have a cat?" Letty looks at him curiously.

"You haven't met Alpine?" Nat asks.

"Wait how did Nat meet Alpine before Lue?" Ivy questions.

"Yeah, how do I not know Alpine?" Letty continues.

"Wait- Alouette hasn't met Alpine?" Steve scoffs.

James sighs, scratching the back of his neck, "She doesn't come out much."

Conversation continues to flow, mostly about Alpine but other topics are brought up too. Ivy makes a plan for everyone to meet for free ice cream at Junipers on Saturday because even though she's been going, she hasn't seen anyone else.

Nat announces that she and Steve are thinking of moving in together though there's a small possibility because "his bed is too comfortable and it's too far from the diner."

Even Peter shares exciting news of a new internship he got at Stark Industries, gushing about how excited he is to meet Tony Stark and how good it will look on his MIT application.

James hardly hears any of it, too focused on Alouette to pay attention to anything else. His mind continues to replay their moment on the couch earlier. He tried to contain himself as much as he could when they got interrupted, but it kept eating at him.

He was so close to her, her sweet candied scent stuck all over him. The ghosting touch of her fingers running through his hair, tugging as his hand crept closer and closer to the heat emanating through her panties.
