𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙚𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 surprises her, and her hand is taken from his face to intertwine between his fingers, a gesture she would not have expected from anyone, least of all James.

She doesn't fight it though, because she couldn't deny the ache that was left from earlier when they had been interrupted.

She kisses him like she's read in books, like rain is pouring down on them and soft music is playing in the background. But he kisses her back like they're running from lighting, brutal force against her mouth making their teeth clash together.

She tries to match him but it proves impossible as he completely takes over her lips, his stubble scraping against her soft cheeks leaving behind the most delicious burns shes ever had.

He slides an arm under her and uses it as leverage to lift her onto him, making her squeal with surprise. He stands up with her, making her break from his lips in confusion.

He doesn't seem bothered though as he starts to occupy himself with the sweet taste of her neck, his teeth scraping over her right before his tongue soothes the roughness.

She smiles when she feels him grin into her neck. "What's got you so happy Mr. Barnes?"

He sets her down, grabbing her face in both of his hands and pulling her close to him. "You, Birdie."

Her hands wrap around his neck again and she continues their kiss, they're mouths tasting of a mash of carbonation and bourbon. A combo neither of them argued with as James leads them to his room.

He pushes her back onto the bed, making her pull him down with her as their lips continue their airless melody. His hands waste no time in groping as they immediately go to the zipper that holds her dress together.

Alouette is forced to break from the kiss eventually though, when the pressure becomes to much for her and her head starts to pound. She promises herself though, that nothing would ruin the moment.

So instead, she takes the path that James usually seems to take. She attaches her lip to his cheek, then further down to his jaw where she traces the sharp ridges and then down to the side of his neck where she can feel the pulse of his heart through his skin.

James pulls her flush against him as the medal sound of her zipper fills the room, mixing in with their shallow pants.

He pulls the straps down her arms and lets the dress slip down, revealing her matching yellow bra. He pulls it the rest of the way off her body, raking his eyes over her sweet curves, soft as the light that makes her dewy skin glow.
