Dating Prince John in general

- A lot of people thought that he either sold you over or forced you to be his partner. But it actually happened with a normal confession, really.

- Dating Prince John is actually pretty rough sometimes. He will have heavy mood swings some days and react them out on you.

- If he accidentally hits a cord and made you either mad at him or sad because of him due to those mood swings, just give him a few hours and he will be standing in front of your door apologizing to you, with some gifts in his hands.

- If your family is just some people that work at the market or anything like that. It'll be an awkward meeting knowing that their family member is literally dating a prince who doesn't have the best reputation in the county.

- Prince John tries to stay nice when he meets your caretakers, but he cannot help but feel and think poorly of them as they aren't that rich with money. He tries to stay a gentleman of course to win their blessing on dating you.

- Even though he can practically owe you with all the gold he has, he wants to have your caretaker's approval with honesty.

- You are King Richard's OTP. Like if John didn't dare to confess to you, he would make him.

- He basically accepted you heads on in the Lionheart family the moment he saw his brother blush and genuinely laugh around you.

- You're probably a friend of Robin and his gang so it's hard sometimes to hear either Prince John or Robin talk badly about one another since you care about them both a lot. But you won't push either of them to become friends like Richard does. You know it won't work anyway.

- Sometimes Marian asks just to be sure, how and why you fell for her cousin. She doesn't mean it in a rude way, she's just curious.

- Richard basically forces John to do an activity with him, you obviously joining them. He wants to bond with his brother's lover of course.

- Richard is secretly planning your guys' wedding. Even though you're both 15/16 years old.

- Richard also tells you funny and embarrassing back stories about John, which he hates.

- If you're female, Marian and Scarlett will have a full-on girl's night with you. Sometimes sending you with makeup on to John's room to see him get flustered at your sudden makeover. Yeah, these two love messing with you both.

- Prince John is clingy af. That guy needs you around him almost 24/7 once you both start dating. He's not only greedy for gold after all, but now also for your affection and touch.

- Did I also say touch starved?

- Yeah, maybe he doesn't like it when his brother pinches his cheek. But when you cup his cheek with your hand or just hold his hand, he's over the moon for you.

- Doesn't give a single shit about PDA. If you want to hold his hand in public, he'll gladly do it! Not only is he closer to you, but he can also brag to the other nobles that he has the best lover in the world, and show everyone that you're his.

- Just don't kiss him fully out in the public, it will make him flustered and will basically shut him down for a few seconds.

- Secretly loves it when you scratch his back or go with your fingers through his hair. But beware, once you start, you have to keep going.

- This guy feeds off compliments. So be sure to give him some. Whether it's about his hair or his eyes or anything else, he lives of them. He will become more affectionate with you that day too.

- He will compliment you back obviously. Most likely put some references to any kind of gems or gold in them.

- Calls you his Prince/ Princess. The other nobles squealed or awed at the two of you once they heard the nickname escape his lips.

- Our boy is a tsundere, I swear.

- He actually cares more about you than his gold. So bonus points for you!

- You actually convinced him to do fewer taxes on the villagers, which the villagers and Robin are very thankful for.

- You're the only person he lets his neutral hair down for. Like when he just got out of a bath and hasn't styled his hair yet, so it's just hanging over his shoulders, you're onto it. Going with your fingers through his hair and giving him a small head massage will send him through a bliss.

- He'll most likely lie on top of you when you do that. That's also your cuddle position most of the time.

- He likes to be the little spoon, although he denies it.

- When he has a rough day -most likely thanks to Robin, he'll cuddle with you and you rub his back as he vents to you.

- When you have to vent to him, he would order some guard to get your favorite pastry and sit down with you. Also cuddling you if you prefer that.

- If you're comfortable with your hair being touched, he'll gladly touch it for you. If it's long hair he will even braid or brush them. If it's short, he will just massage your head and take your curls between his fingers. Gloves off, of course.

- That guy's hands are soft af! You sometimes ask him when you feel his hands without gloves if he uses any type of lotion or something, but he doesn't use any of that at all. You envy him for that.

- Speaking of jealousy. He gets so easily jealous of any type of person that he finds too close to you for his opinion. He even gets jealous of his cousin and brother sometimes!

- When that happens, he'll just glare at the person or drag you away with him with some stupid excuse.

- Robin is definitely a threat he's jealous of. Almost everyone likes a guy that is an adventurer and isn't afraid of anything. Prince John is sometimes scared that you'll choose Robin over him, so you have to reassure him a lot and promise him that you'll stick by his side.

- When you turn out to be jealous of someone that is a little close to Prince John, he'll smirk to himself as he feels being claimed by you. He reassures you that he's fully yours of course.

- That guy has probably a lot of hidden insecurities that he doesn't dare tell you about until you're at least a few months into dating.

- When he does, you're patient with him and reassure and encourage him of them. He dislikes the size of his eyebrows? You love them! He doesn't like his height? Just have a talk with him with some cuddles. He dislikes his mole? You'll kiss it every time you meet up with him! He compares himself badly with his brother? Tell him you love him for just the way he is and it's okay if he wants to change! You'll have his back if he wants to.

- If you have some of your own, he'll be by your side as well. He's bad at comforting people though, so give him a little bit of time. You have a birthmark you dislike? He finds that one of the unique things about you. You dislike your freckles? He'll trace them and kiss them. And so on.

- He can lose his temper easily sometimes, so Richard or anyone else are most likely to get you on the spot to calm him down, which always works.

- If you don't know how to play croquet, he'll gladly teach you! Since he's the best player in the world and all.

- He's totally fine if you want to teach him something you like to do. Just don't let it be a dirty hobby or activity or something. He likes to keep his clothes clean, thank you.

- When you get sick though, he'll just leave some flowers at the door or lets a servant bring you some tasty snacks. But no way he comes in there. He loves you dearly, but he doesn't want to get sick either.

- Prince John in general is just a secretly touch-starved guy that wants your attention 24/7 and is a total softie when it comes to you. You guys sometimes have problems, but you both always solve them together.
