A/N:

After this oneshot I have no story that is even close to finishing, so it might take a while for another oneshot to come up again. I am trying to get back on the Alternate Mistake AU again and perhaps continue the Robin Hood insert story as I feel like that story has been put on hold for too long. Also, I'm still editing the scenario book. So be ready for another AU chapter as the next update that might be soon.

This oneshot is inspired by an episode of season 3 where Prince John wants to free an evil genie from a lamp for power but gets possessed instead. I don't have the full translation for the episode so I did with what I have which were the auto translations. I also didn't know the genies pronouns so I just used It. This is also mostly genie content than from the Prince but Idc.

Please vote and comment on the chapters if you like them as it helps me greatly with motivation. School is already getting harder and I don't know how long I can keep the motivation up for these books. I really want to keep continueing this in my free time.

Summary:

It was an angsty day in Nottingham. No one really knew why, just that it felt tense, like something was going to happen.

You were walking down the castle's corridors as you were heading out. The moment you woke up and were just about to get out of your room, John came through fast to tell you that he was busier today than usual because of an important package arriving soon so he may have less time with you.

You were fine with it as you decided to just head out in the village to speak to some people you were well spoken with, leaving your boyfriend be with that special package of his.

However, on the way to the village, you came across a sight you knew all too well. Three guards were hanging upside down with no sight of cards or witnesses. One of them noticed your approach and called out to you.

"Lady/Sir Y/n! Please help us get down! We've been attacked!" You nodded as you tried untying the ropes.

"Robin Hood again I presume?" You asked as the guard shook his head. "No, someone way stronger!" You got concerned as you halted the untangling. "Not him? Then who else would attack the prince's guards? And why?"

"That's what I like to know too."

You and the guard's heads snap to the new voice as you saw Robin, Little John, and Tuck standing to the side. You also noticed a very bad hidden Marian hiding behind the tree next to them. It was quite a sad sight.

Robin approached you as he smiled at you. Although you were the prince's partner, you were a good person who sometimes put your boyfriend in his place when his greed gets too much of him. They appreciate you. Although they would never understand how you got feelings for him.
