Last chapter:
"You should've gone with the easy way."
The smug look turned into a snarl as the boot came down onto Robin's face with a stomp.
A deafening tone was ringing throughout Robin's head as he heard one last crack, darkness overcoming his vision.
He heard Richard's voice one last time before all the noise was fully deafened, making him pass out. Or pass away, he didn't know.
"Next time, I won't go easy on you."
Three lives remain.

Robin sat up as he gasped for air. He was breathing heavily as he looked around, trying to observe his surroundings. Once he got his breathing back to normal he could focus better.
He noticed that he woke up in the dead-end corridor King Richard caught him. Then memories came flooding back and that sickening crunch sound that came from his head was heard again.
Robin then hastily felt the side of his head and then his face. Quickly coming to a realization that there was no damage done to his head or face, neither did he feel any kind of pain.
"What just happened?" Robin asked himself as he comprehended the situation to himself.
"Well, it seems that you were killed by King Richard himself. Quite brutal as well to be honest. Are you alright?" Tom's voice was heard as Robin almost forgot that he was with him...sort of.
"I...I think I am." Robin had to ensure himself that he was alright, for now. But it was hard to do so. He literally just experienced dead!
"But how am I still here, aren't I supposed to be dead?"
"As I said earlier, your soul has gotten four lives in this universe, now three to be exact. I think the situation is that when you die, you'll somehow respawn or get reborn in the same place you died at, giving you another chance to redo it and succeed. As long as you have some lives left." Robin was silent as he listened to Tom, nodding to himself before standing up.
Some sort of a new determined feeling came rushing through his veins. He was ready to retry again. He had three lives and he was going to use those to escape this hell!
"Well then, let's try again!" Robin spoke to himself.
"Oh, I like this new tone of yours!" Tom spoke, a grin being heard through his words.
Robin was walking through the hallways, sneakier than last time, and way better on his lookout. Sometimes he would stop walking altogether and just listen.
He could hear doors being opened and closed in the distance. The storm happening outside, which made the hearing harder than normal. And some footsteps slowly approaching.
Robin looked around fast and saw some doors in the hallway he was in. He tried the first door but was met with a locked one. He tried the next one and it opened with ease, the only problem was that it made an awfully creaking noise.
