Last chapter:
He looked at the prince's body one last time before walking out of the side of the throne room, going towards the other side of the throne.
He put the key in the hole and it immediately fit just right. Once it was unlocked, he slowly opened the door to prevent any noise making. He checked the hallway for any light or footsteps.
Once he was sure there was no one nearby, he stepped out of the door. He closed it behind him and locked it again. Hoping to keep the prince at bay for some time.
He jogged a little down the hallway, looking for a room with nursery items in it.

Robin stalked through the corridors as he looked behind him time from to time. Even though he locked the door with a knocked-out prince behind them, the feeling of thought that he could slam open that door and go after him again made Robin grimace to himself.
He looked with disgust at his hands which were both covered in blood. He tried to stop the blood from falling on the floor by covering it with his other hand, but still, a few drops fell onto the floor, making a blood trail from behind. He was lucky that Flynn wasn't in this world or he'll be caught in seconds.
"Are you alright? Is the wound still that bad going?"
Wow, Robin hadn't heard that voice in a hot minute.
"Does it look like I'm doing fine?! I'm leaving a blood trail behind me as we speak and I have no idea where the nursery is here," Robin spoke as he looked around a corner to see if anyone was there. Nobody was.
Robin was about to pass another corridor if it wasn't for the light coming closer with each footstep there was suddenly heard.
He grimaced to himself as he looked around quickly. There was almost nothing to hide behind or in and if he'd go into a room, the noise of the door would betray him.
Just as the light seems to turn in his corridor, more footsteps were heard running towards the light.
"Sire! Sire, we have a problem!" The sheriff's voice was heard booming through the empty hall.
"Yes, what is it now? Another false alarm?" Richard's voice sounded annoyed as Robin saw his silhouette turn around to probably look at the sheriff.
"No, not that. It's Prince John!" The sheriff said with slight panic in his voice. Robin began to sweat as he realized they must've found the prince's body.
Slowly, Robin began to step back as quietly as possible while those two talked.
"What about him? Did he get the intruder?" Richard asked with slight excitement in his voice which made Robin cringe to himself. It was silent for a moment between the two as the sheriff didn't answer Richard.
"I-...I guess our intruder got him first-"
"What!? How is that even possible?! We left that oath alone with him with nothing to defend himself with and he still escaped?!" Richard's voice showed clear anger as he could hear the sheriff visibly flinch from that tone alone.
