Arjun woke up with the first light of dawn filtering through the delicate silk curtains of their chamber. The morning calm filled the room, casting a serene glow over everything.

As his eyes adjusted to the soft light, he realized Draupadi was still nestled closely against him, her breathing steady and peaceful.

He lay still for a moment, simply admiring the woman beside him, his heart swelling with affection.

Draupadi's face was serene, framed by the silky waves of her hair. A gentle breeze from the slightly open window caused a loose strand to fall across her cheek, partially obscuring her delicate features.

Arjun couldn’t help but smile at the sight. With a careful touch, he brushed the strand of hair behind her ear, not wanting to disturb her peace.

But Draupadi stirred slightly at his touch, her brow furrowing in brief discomfort before her eyes fluttered open.

The first thing she saw was Arjun's face, illuminated by the soft morning light, watching her with a tender smile. Her cheeks flushed a deep shade of red as she realized he had been admiring her.

Arjun grinned mischievously and whispered, "Good morning, my lady. Did you have sweet dreams?"

Draupadi’s blush deepened, and she tried to hide her embarrassment by burying her face into his chest.

Arjun chuckled, a warm, rich sound that filled the room."Oh, come now, Krishnaa. There’s no need to be shy. You look even more beautiful when you blush."

Draupadi looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with a mixture of shyness and affection. "You’re insufferable, Arya."

"And yet, you married me," Arjun teased, his smile broadening.

Draupadi’s cheeks burned hotter, and she playfully swatted his arm. "I must have been out of my mind."

Arjun wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer. "If that’s the case, I hope you never come to your senses. I quite enjoy having you out of your mind."

Draupadi’s laughter mingled with his, a sound that was both musical and filled with genuine joy.

As they kept looking into each other's eyes, Draupadi knew she had to escape Arjun's gaze. Her heart raced, and she hurriedly left the bed, saying she should get ready for the day.

Practically running away, she felt a mix of excitement and shyness. Reaching the bath chamber, she could literally hear Arjun's laugh, Draupadi took a moment to catch her breath and control her racing heart before starting her morning bath rituals .

She was sure Arjun wouldn't be in the chamber when she returned.

After her bath, she clad herself in a saree that clung to her like a second skin. Her hair was wet, with droplets of water falling down her back. As she entered the chamber, she was shocked to see Arjun still there.
