Jack POV

We searched for a couple more hours but it came up fruitless. The sun was rising so we decided to go back to the camp and search later.

Upon returning I noticed that there was no one to be seen which I thought was weird till I remembered that it was probably 6 am. We all soon drifted off to our cabins (or in my case a shed) and get another hour of sleep.

It wasn't long before I heard the all to familiar horn wake me up signaling breakfast and yet another search for the Poseidon children.

Little did I know that we didn't need to because after I got ready and walked out the cabin there was a swarm of campers outside the Poseidon cabin I walked over to see for myself what everyone was bugging about.

I immediately understood when I saw two bodies passed out(probably from exhaustion) on two different bunks. Percy and Sam came back.

Sam POV

Normal people usually wake up by the sound of an alarm clock or a parent wakes them up. I was obviously not a normal person so I guess I can't wake up like one either.

I had a good hour of sleep with no nightmares which was surprising sense I kinda blew up the earth mother and her warehouse.

I woke to people muttering and whispering and I tried to ignore it because of how exhausted I was. When it continued I yelled,"Some people are trying to sleep!" still laying down because of my soreness. Percy woke up beside me then covered his head with a pillow.

It looked like the whole camp was on the front lawn of the Poseidon cabin, and they were all staring at Percy and me like we were ghosts. "What?" I questioned.

A thousand questions came at me.

"Where were you last night?"

"Why didn't you come out of your cabin?"

"I want breakfast."

I didn't know who said that last one but I didn't care at that moment. I threw my pillow at Percy and he sat up groggily. Then glared at me.

"SHUT IT!" I screamed this silenced them quickly.

"To answer all your questions. We were here all night sleeping except for the part where the ground shook and then a green blast came through our window." I decided to describe it just as Abby did. She was probably still sound asleep at the Artemis cabin where Percy said she should go.

"Well you guys never came out of your cabin." someone questioned from the back of the group.

"Why is it such a big deal?"

"We all thought you went missing and sent a search party out and everything!" Clarisse shouted. I guessed she was part of that search party because of the bags under her eyes.

"Did anyone actually look in our cabin to see if we were in there?" I asked skeptically hoping no one actually did. From the expressions on there faces and because the Athena cabin was face palming i took that as a no.

So far they seemed to bye it. Then my yes landed on Annabeth's and Jack's faces. They obviously didn't believe a word coming out of my mouth. Oh no we are so dead. I thought.
