We were required to live out our normal lives like nothing ever happened, but we both no we can't do that.
Anyway it was a warm summer night at Camp-Halfblood and Jack and I were hangout out in his 'cabin' as we started to do every Friday night. Mostly just because we want to act like normal teenagers for once.
When I say 'cabin' I mean more of a shed. Everyone wanted Jack to have a cabin so he wouldn't feel left out and stuff. His 'cabin' was probably the smallest one I've ever seen. It had one bed, a desk, and a window. That's mostly all there was.
Chiron said he would upgrade it later but for now this was all he had.
We were sitting on his bed talking about the camp activities we were good at. For me it was archery, canoeing, pegasi ridding(even though it freaks me out), and sword fighting. For Jack it was sword fighting, tree climbing/rock climbing, and gardening(I tease him about that).
Because he's great at gardening he quickly made friends with the Demeter cabin.
One time a girl named Katie was trying to teach him how to pot a plant properly and a boy named Travis (Hermes kid. Twin brother of Connor) got jealous and was trying to show off how great he was at gardening. Don't ask me how but somehow Travis got pot stuck on his head. Katie just laughed at this.
Jack was talking to me but I wasn't listening. "...want to know where you go every night." This again.
"Percy and I just enjoy our brother sister bonding time." I responded. He glared at me obviously not amused.
"Sam come on! I can't stand it. Every night you two sneak away and I stay awake at night worrying about you! I just couldn't live with myself if something happened to you." Those were the same words I thought the night I joined Gaea's army.
"Jack? Do you trust me?"
"Of course I do."
"Then trust me that I will come back the next day, okay?"
"Okay." I smiled.
"Okay! Now let's stop this seriousness an lets get to training."
He smiled back. "This time your going down!"
"That's what you said last Friday."
At this point every Friday night we stop being normal teenagers and be ourselves. Normals boring.
We made our way into the arena where I will yet again beat Jack in some hand to hand combat.
