Chapter 16: Dads

The life of a demigod is hard to say the least.

Other then Percy and Annabeth I'm pretty sure I have one of the most...complicated lives.

After we defeated the shapeshifter we were told by Chiron that he was probably the one who visited me when I was a kid pretending to be Percy.

I haven't been sleeping much lately. Images of Jack...dying...have been revisiting me in my dreams. I've been on edge lately like I could be attacked any moment(I guess being a demigod I could).

I can never get a break. I become a demigod but get captured by Gaea and join her. Then I defeat her(sorta) and then she kills Jack. Welcome to my life.

Earlier that day Percy and Annabeth left camp to go who knows where. I watched them run away neither of them looked back at the camp or even at me. I took a breath and later I jumped into the lake.

I swam down to Poseidon's castle (at least that's what I think it was). I water down here was freezing cold but since I wasn't getting wet I just felt the coolness on my skin.

Mermaids swan around everywhere but they weren't the ones I've seen from the little mermaid. These where all men(and they weren't even cute.)

I marched right into my dads palace and I didn't even care about the weird looks thrown my way.

There was another mermaid there and I guessed this was Triton from the stories Percy told me. He gave me a look and said,"Wow a girl who can breathe underwater?! Your just my type." He started to walk(swim?)up to me but I put a hand on his chest and said,"Not so fast lover boy I'm kinda your half sister."

"Yep I knew it was to good to be true." He said.

That's when a man swam in. He had grey hair but the same sparkling green eyes. "Dad?!"

"Hello Sam." He said with a smile.

"Dad, we need to talk."
