Annabeth (being the good girl she is) just had to tell Chiron where we were going. I was afraid he would forbid it or something, but instead he gave us permission probably because he knew that we would go anyway.
He knew us way to well.
We were planning to take the quickest way to get there: Blackjack. Unfortunately Blackjack was nowhere to be seen. Just like Percy....
Instead we had Argus(A/N I forgot his name idk if it's right)drive us. He was an interesting person. He had eyes all over his body and I mean ALL over his body. Annabeth told me there was a rumor that he had some on his tongue too.
He never talked so I guess there was no way to find out.
Argus dropped us off right outside Percy's house and I thanked him. He returned my thanks with a slight nod of his head and he drove off.
Without hesitation Annabeth ran right the steps of his house and started knocking hard of the door. I joined her right as my mom opened the door.
When he saw Annabeth and me with no Percy she immediately knew something was wrong and you could tell by the look on her face.
"What's wrong." Annabeth and I shared a look.
"We believe that something happened or is going to happen to Percy." Annabeth replied. She motioned for us to come in.
Annabeth went in first and I followed. Mom grabbed me and pulled me into a tight embrace. "I've missed you." She muttered. "I've missed you too." I replied.
We pulled apart and she offered us some blue cookies. We gladly took some and sat on the couch.
"Ms. Jackson," Annabeth started. "last time I saw Percy he told me that he was coming here. Did he?"
"I haven't seen him. Annabeth what has happened."
Annabeth looked grim. "Lord Poseidon told Sam that...Hera had a plan." I then remembered that Annabeth hated Hera, and I'm sure her taking Percy didn't help there 'relationship.'
"What has Percy gotten herself into now?" Mom asked no one in particular.
Everyone fell silent. Annabeth I ally broke that awkward silence when she said,"We better go alert Chiron and maybe send out some search parties." I could tell she was not giving up on him.
I took another bit of my cookie but it suddenly didn't seem that good anymore.
Sally/mom gave us both a quick hug and we were on our way.
