When we pass through the gates of the mansion, he turns the vehicle off and remains silent.

We both stay still, sourly thinking about everything that just happened. It seems we both made a promise to never bring up that part of our past, yet we did anyway.

Hopefully, the world won't find out. After all, if only a couple of people know about what happened to Taehyung, then I should be safe if he can keep that secret from getting out to the world.

"We can just pretend—"

Before he can even say anything else, I lean over to him and softly kiss his lips. It's sudden, but it's not done without purpose.

It's a deep, soft kiss to hopefully, hook a promise that he won't break.

Once I pull away, breathlessly while gasping for air, I whisper to him while scanning his dark eyes that are almost in a trance from the unexpected action.

"Please, keep this between us," I let my forehead rest against his for a brief moment, letting him know just how much this means to keep this to him and him only. I'm showing him my weakness, but I also know his. Only time will tell if he'll decide to use it against me or keep the public from finding out once they start digging up my background.

His hands suddenly find mine, and he grabs them tenderly. "I promise I'll make sure no one finds out. Your secret is safe with me, Ada,"

Although his words are reassuring, I can't fully trust him, and I remember that while pulling away from him.

I slip out of the vehicle and walk inside the house without another word because honestly, I have no clue what else to say.

My darkest, most troubling secret is out just to save my skin in the long run, and I hate it. I can only hope it'll stay between us because the truth of my past hurts—hurts in a way that I can't even begin to explain.

"Girl!" GiGi comes rushing into the bedroom while holding her phone out for me to see. "You and Taehyung are trending on Twitter!" She holds out the device for me to take, and once I do, I see a photograph of both of us.

It's a good-quality photo of us in the restaurant earlier today. The photo is when we're kissing, and he's holding onto me so tightly.

I can't help but smile a tad at the social lie. From such a romantic photo, no one will be able to tell its facade.

"I assume everyone online should know we're getting married, right?" I ask once handing her back the phone.

"Yeah, you have a lot of haters, but I mean, they are just jealous. I wouldn't worry about them though. You're beautiful compared to all the jealous people in the world." She admits while laying on her stomach over the bed and lightly swaying her legs back and forth in the air.

"Are you not mad?" I turn around and face her.

"Why would I be?" She asks as if it's a silly question.

"When you were showing me around the mansion, you explained how you wanted to sleep with Taehyung. Aren't you upset that we're going to be together?" I ease the words because I'm unsure of her reaction.
