Almost an hour passed before Taehyung received the go-ahead from Alice. She managed to hopefully get all of the paparazzi out of the building with the obvious help of the resort's staff.
Taehyung was right and one of the girls tipped the media off about our whereabouts, which is the reason why so many paparazzi have been here.
For now, though, we have more important things to handle before getting to the bottom of who said what.
Walking out of the bathroom, I slide my hands down the long dress that hugs my body tightly. Curiously wondering if this will fit for the meetings downstairs.
As I walk into the room, I see Taehyung pacing around the room while on his phone. I can tell he's on edge, and I can tell it's because of the people downstairs.
He's wearing a fancy white-buttoned up shirt, which fits the Hawaii atmosphere perfectly.
As for me, I'm wearing a dark green dress that has floral prints which are supposed to resemble the Hawaii theme, too. There are no straps, and the chest piece is a little too tight around my breasts, but at least it's not the ugliest piece of clothing I've worn. I have to admit, I do like how tight-fitting it is around certain parts of my body.
Alice picked out the dress for me, and honestly, it isn't for me, but I held back my thoughts. She already seemed on edge earlier, and I didn't want to be the one to push her over the breaking point.
Walking up to him, I smile and notice the first couple of buttons that are undone on his shirt, exposing his warm skin tone to my starved eyes.
"Who are you trying to impress, Mr. Kim?" I tease, walking past him and curiously scanning his phone screen where I see he's been texting Alice. "Has she said when we should go down yet?"
He shakes his head, and I can't help but notice his eyes are on me as well. His eyes, as dark as they are, momentarily stare at my chest before he forces himself to drag his eyes upward to my eyes instead. Either he wasn't being subtle or he didn't realize he was staring for as long as he was.
"Yeah, she said we could go now," he admits, pressing the power button on the side of his phone and sliding it into his pants pocket before skillfully taking my hand in his. "Are you ready for this? It might be a little intimidating."
He chuckles confidently while leading me to the door of the room.
"I'm not scared, Taehyung," I admit once stepping out into the hallway. "After all, everyone needs to see me anyways. Might as well get this out of the way before the wedding, right?"
I softly shrug once he shuts the door and locks it behind us. "I suppose you're right, but you know you have to be nice tonight, right? We'll have to act like a couple and even flirt a little," he says cockily, smirking to himself once we step into the elevator down the hallway.
"I believe I can handle a little flirting," I softly laugh, which causes one of his eyebrows to rise.
"Do you now?" He turns to me with a soft smirk set in place, lightly biting his bottom lip when I step closer to him.
"I do," I step forward, placing my hand on his chest before gently pushing him against the wall. I take another step closer and stand taller to where I can whisper in his ear. "After all, you're the one with the erratic heartbeat," I slide my hand over his chest, feeling it beating in a calm pattern and seeing him smile from above.
