"Thank you for showing up for our wedding," I smile brightly, hearing whispers of how polite I am around the room. So far, it's going perfectly. "It's a pleasure to meet both of you. I'm Ada," I reach my hand out to shake Eris' just for the whole room to think I'm an innocent person, which is working.

I can see her face turn into disgust, but she reaches out her hand and latches it onto mine while shaking. I can see Taehyung's smirk from the corner of my eye; he must've liked that.

"I'm Eris," she pauses while taking away her hand. "I don't know if Taehyung has said anything about me—"

"He hasn't, but I'm so glad to meet you. Were you perhaps one of Taehyung's girls from before?" I ask the question innocently, but I can see the way it ignites a fire in her green eyes.

Calming herself, she shuts her eyes for a moment, while Jungkook gently rubs up and down the small of her back to soothe her.

I'm as calm as ever while glancing between the two of them. Whatever it is they're trying to prove here, it isn't working in the slightest. It's pathetic.

I can see Jungkook's shocked expression still lingering on his face, even though he's trying his absolute hardest to hide it. He's probably terrified that I'll talk to him, but I won't. I don't have anything to say to the likes of him.

Taehyung, on the other hand, seems to relax a tad knowing that I'm right beside him, and even though we're just now getting a little closer to one another, I'm happy I can relieve some of his stress levels.

"Actually, I'm not, or ever was, one of his girls. We used to be engaged. Taehyung is on good terms with my father, and he happened to help me land a job at a well-paying magazine company. I started writing articles about Taehyung and his job. Well, I was until Taehyung had me fired." Although I would love to say, 'can you blame him?' I keep my mouth shut.

Loud gasps circle the room and back into our ears. However, I can see her devilish smirk.

"There were hundreds of errors in your work. Your grammar and spelling were awful," her eyes instantly widen once hearing Taehyung's voice. "Of course, the topics you wrote about were decent... that is when you weren't repeating yourself in your sentences, but I still never complained, and never once did I ask to have you fired. I guess you did that all on your own."

She grits her teeth and clenches her jaw so hard that I can see a vein or two trying to stick out of her temple, but she relaxes yet again with the help of Jungkook's touch.

Shaking her head, she speaks again.

"Anyway, I just came to congratulate you both," her eyes flash between Taehyung and me with an evil glint behind them. "We're also getting married... but it's because of an unfortunate situation we've found ourselves in. Do you want to tell them?" She looks to Jungkook who wears a proud smile while looking directly into my eyes when he says it.

"We're going to have a baby. We just found out a couple of days ago, but we've already started planning everything," Jungkook admits once Eris opens the purse on her side and takes out the engagement ring.

"I didn't want to make tonight about me, so I pulled my ring off, but since we're on the topic," she starts sliding the engagement ring onto her finger. "I'm getting married, too,"
