The joyful day took a rough turn, and we both decided it would be best to walk around the town and explore places instead of him spending his money on me.

We were able to talk, he taught me a few basic language skills, and I even ordered a drink in Italian thanks to him.

Although we didn't say anything else about our past, I could tell he was in heavy thought throughout the day, and I was, too.

Not only was I ignoring my past, but I was also ignoring Eris and Jungkook being here.

When Jungkook first admitted he got another woman pregnant, I didn't think it was true, to be honest. I thought it was just a lie, or at least hoped it was in the back of my mind, and truthfully, I think my heart would have taken the news of him leaving me much better if knowing it was a lie.

To think he'll be a father to a child that could have been ours. It's disheartening to the point it makes my blood boil and yet makes my skin shiver from how upsetting the situation is.

However, I think Taehyung's the opposite of me. I believe he's been thinking about her almost all day, and I can't judge him because there have been days I've done the same with Jungkook, even after we were done.

Once the sun started lowering in the sky and the breeze picked up a tad, Taehyung and I decided it was time to call it a day, so we headed back to the hotel in silence.

"This is nice," Taehyung says contently, easing himself further into the jacuzzi tub.

The water is comforting, especially after the exhausting day we've had. The jets relax me, the warm water soothes me, and the glass of champagne in my hand can hopefully make me forget about my earlier troubles.

"It's perfect," I admit, taking a sip.

As soon as we arrived back at the hotel, Taehyung had a quick thought to jump in the jacuzzi. So we hurried upstairs, changed into our bathing suits, and now we're relaxing outside where there are only a few other people here, but they're in the pool and not in the tub with us.

We're both wearing matching bathing suits, thanks to Alice. He's wearing red bottoms, while I'm wearing a red bikini. I have my hair tied up to make sure it doesn't get wet as well.

"Well, today wasn't perfect as I expected, but did you still enjoy it?" He asks from across me, a hint of nervousness in his tone.

"It was perfect, Taehyung. Despite the smaller setbacks, we still had a wonderful day. We rode the train, I got to speed through a portion of Italy on a Ferri, I'm staying in a 5-star hotel, and we're in a jacuzzi. This is everything a new bride would want," I laugh, and he does, too.

My honesty helps boost his confidence in knowing he didn't do bad with his plans for me, and I wanted him to know he didn't. He planned this for me, and he worked so hard for me to enjoy it. I was going to make sure he knew just how much I appreciate his kindness.

"I'm just glad your day wasn't ruined," he says while drinking some more of his champagne. "I was afraid it was after we saw them..."

"Anyway, to us," he brings his champagne glass closer to me where we lightly hit our glasses together to make a toast to ourselves, and then, we drink.
