A year went by in a slow, yet fast, way after I found out I was pregnant. Nothing was ever the same after Taehyung's death, but we all found ways of coping.
I decided to keep the mansion throughout my pregnancy, but after I gave birth to a healthy, baby boy, I knew I needed to sell it and get away from the paparazzi, so that's just what I did.
All the girls went their separate ways, but we still kept in touch, occasionally. However, we made a promise to never speak of Alice to anyone, and it was a promise we all would take to our graves.
I bought a smaller house in a gated-in neighborhood that's known to be well-protected. I bought a two-story home that's painted in white and grey. It would be perfect for a family of two.
However, I wasn't the only person to move into the community. GiGi and Jin both followed me and lived in the neighborhood, too. With the money Taehyung left both of them, and yes, Jin got money, too, they decided to stay in our life.
After I moved, the years went by fast here, and now, we've been living here for twelve years. It's funny how time gets away from us because it only seems like yesterday Taehyung was promising me the world.
Jin, after a year, took over Taehyung's business but turned it into a sports company instead.
GiGi got married and is expecting her third child any day now, but for me, I'm fine with one.
"Mom, have you seen my phone?" I turn around in my seat when I hear him call after me.
"Yeah, hold on, honey," I walk over to the stand against the stairs and search through my purse. "Here, you told me to keep up with it at the store earlier," I hand him the phone, seeing so much of Taehyung when he smiles, but he also has Taehyung's death glare, too.
"Thanks, Mom!" He comes closer and takes the phone out of my hand while running out of the door, but I stop him before he can leave.
"Ty, come back and hug your mother before you leave," I warn him, watching him groan while walking over and hugging me.
I wish Taehyung could have been here to watch him grow up. I know he would be so proud. I named our son Tristan, but everyone started calling him Ty at school, and it stuck. I wanted his name to start with a T just like Taehyung's.
"I love you, Mom, but I have to go! I promised Ivy that I would come over and watch a movie," I smile when his little cheeks become red from talking about her.
Ivy is GiGi's oldest daughter; she's one year younger than Ty, but they both have a crush on one another, which I think is adorable.
"Okay, just don't outstay your welcome. You know GiGi is about to have her baby, so don't get in her way, okay? Also, I may run out for a bit, but I'll be back before dark,"
"I know, Mom, and I'll be fine," he quickly kisses me on the cheek while walking out of the door, where we both suddenly see Jin standing on the porch holding a plate of food in his hands.
"Hi, Uncle Jin," and then Ty rushes out of the house before being stopped by anyone else.
We both chuckle from watching him leave so fast.
