Y/n had insisted to sit in the back with Dani's corps. Felix wanted to at least be in the back with her.

But Y/n wanted to be alone with the corps. In a way, she wanted to punish herself before facing her family members. Y/n held Dani's small cold hand, gently caressing it with her thumb.

Tears were blurring her vision. What was she going to say to Dani's family? how is she going to tell Dani's mother the reason her daughter died, was because Y/n wanted to risk it all an able to win.

The day Dani died was most likely the day Y/n relized that she is no knight in shining armor

"Do you trust me?" Y/n said seriously

Dani nods nervously.

The two were holding both hands while facing each other.
"You can do it Dani!" Kira shouted as her older sister was on gaurd to make sure to alert the others of any enemies near by.

Right now, Y/n was teaching Dani how to use her Air element to fly. Dani recently got hers, the one she had to fight to get it was strong and gave Dani one hell of a beating. So Dani had to take it easy for awhile before finally using the air element.

Y/n started to use her air element to hover a little Dani focused her breathing and started to hover as well.

"Ah!" Dani freaked out a little when she was about 6 inches off the ground.
"Hey! focus on me Dani. Don't look down and look at me!" Y/n said as she tightened her grip on Dani.

Dani frowns deeply. She never liked hights, but she had to suck it up for now and try and learn.

When the two got 5 feet off the ground they got back down. Dani was shaking like crazy even then and still didn't want to practice again.

"You don't really got to do this Dani. We're ok with you sticking with healing and defense. And if we gotta fly we don't mind carrying you" Y/n said with a small smile.

"Uhh, not me. I already got back problems" Zena said. Causing her to get a hit upside the head by her sister and a glare from Y/n.

"No. I want to learn." Dani said. Y/n was slightly taken aback by that. But she saw the determination in the youngers eyes.

"Alright. Let's give it one more go, yeah?" Y/n took Dani's hand in hers and slowly lead her back to the spot where they were practicing.

And the nervous exciting feeling came back to Dani.

Y/n sat on a rock near a tree. Looking down at her blodded hands.

she felt frustrated. She has killed multiple girls near her age or older.
She has taken away someone's daughter, sister, friend, lover.

Yet she feels nothing, was it an effect from the magical dome that surpunded the island that she was on? Or was it the desperate need to get stronger to protect Athanasia that made her care little about the ones she has killed.
