A single rose came into her line of vision, automatically ruining her concentration. She turned to see a smiling Noah.

'For you my lady', she took the rose with a small smile

'Why thank you kind sir',

'You're welcome, mind if I sit here with you?', she moved and patted the seat so he could join her.

'How are you doing today?',

'I'm okay, just doing some light reading', she

'Romance huh?',

'Yes of course, love indeed is beautiful. How was your day at the bakery?',

They talked for a while before choosing to go for a walk.

Together they strolled down the roads with no particular destination in mind. Noah at some point bought her some seasoned nuts which they were currently enjoying from the foot of a tree in the town center.

'These are good, but the sweetness is enough to give me a high', Sarah said while eating the nuts.

'Light brain", Noah tease

'No arguments offered, never tried drinking alcohol and my mother would skin me if she found me near drugs. Literally ',

'Isn't that a good thing though',

'It is, on the days I feel like I'm slipping. All I need to do is ask myself what would mama do to you if she caught you right now. Problem solved!', Noah was gripping his stomach as he laughed.

Sarah soon joined him. And that was how Carol and Craig found them.

'Hello', Carol greeted while Craig gave a nod. His eyes twinkling.

'What?', Sarah asked him outright

'You forgot something',

'No I didn't, I don't forget things you do', she retorted confidently.

'Guess I didn't forget that I was on kitchen duty at the sanctuary'

'Oh wow!! Thank you so much for today Noah but I gotta run', she took and ran till she reached the church.

'Woah!', Noah breathed as she ran off. He was going to marry that girl.

'Okay, Craig we have some more vegetables to drop off', Craig nodded his head and they both bid Noah farewell.

The street beggar stood up and trailed behind Noah carefully. He didn't need the guy noticing that he was being watched.

As soon as Noah entered his family home, the beggar made a detour to the docks where he gave his daily report on the guy and the preacher's daughter.

Such a pretty thing she was.

As soon as the coins promised him were delivered he made himself scarce.

He put his signature on the last document that signified the dorks now belonged to him. Ergo the control of what and what came in and left as well.

His mamma had a good brain in her head.

Handing the copies to his secretary to distribute the parties involved. He relaxed into his seat and let the thoughts he'd been pushing back cloud his mind.

Noah was getting too comfortable with his queen.

He wanted to make a statement, he had multiple ways at his disposal.

The only thing he was considering was that he hadn't even had a conversation with the girl. So it'd come off as odd if he made the statement with Noah's head hanging in the town center.
