Chapter forty three

After a fitful night rest Sarah decided to give up on sleep and go train. Hopefully one of the guys would be available.

They'd created a group of people who wanted to be trained in arms and warfare for security purposes in the town, the venue wasn't far from their home.

Getting there she saw two guys who immediately called out greetings and in a short while she was warmed up and classing swords with one of them.

On and on they went till both of them were too tired to continue.

'Something on your mind Miss?',

'I wish I could put it in words but I really can't. Thanks for the work out though',

'Yea right, you fight like man and are better than most',

She had to laugh through her heaving.

'That's because I had a great teacher. See you guys later and try not to kill or maim anyone!!',

'Will do Miss!!'.

She got home, bathed, dressed and laid down for a minute. The next time she was conscious it was late afternoon.

Time for the young adults bible study.

She changed her attire quickly and went to join her mother for the meeting.

The meeting already began when she got there so she found a seat at the back and paid attention to what her mother was teaching.

'The power of knowledge. My people are destroyed for lack of
knowledge. Hosea four verse six.

Two striking things are revealed to us in thid verse: the first is the fact that God’s people can be destroyed and the second is the reason it’s possible for them to be destroyed, which is their
lack of knowledge of God’s Word.

The ignorance of God’s Word is such a terrible thing. Jesus said to the Jews, 'You err, because you don’t know the Scriptures'.Matthew twenty two twenty nine.

This helps us further understand why the Bible says in 2 Timothy chapter two verse fifteen, 'Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not
to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

The solution to every problem, the answer to every question, and everything you’d ever require in life are all in the Word. Don’t ignore the Word.
To ignore the Word is to set yourself up for failure and unnecessary hardships in life.

Jesus said, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). Proverbs 11:9 says, “…through knowledge shall the just be delivered.” Acts twenty verse thirty two says, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”

It’s about your knowledge of God’s Word. 2 Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.”

How much and how well do you know Him? That’s what’s going to determine how far you go—your
prosperity, glory, dominion and victories in life. The things you require or desire for a godly life are already yours in Christ. But the way to make them effectual
in your life is a function of your knowledge of Him.

The knowledge Peter writes about is full, exact knowledge—“epignosis” (Greek).

Spend time every day, studying, listening to, and meditating on the Word of God. Inundate your spirit, soul and mind with the
Word. As the Scripture says, 'Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom', (Colossians 3:16).

The result will be a life of ever-increasing grace, everincreasing relevance, ever-increasing glory, unending
success and all-round prosperity.

You are definitely not too young or too old to begin your quest for the knowledge of God's words.

The bible you own is not a table piece. It contains every answer to any question you could possibly have. At this age a lot of things don't make sense, you've not made up your mind on who and how you want to live your life.

With Jesus at the centre, many victories are always won. Shall we bow our head in prayer?

Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the knowledge of your Word that dwells in me richly, causing me to walk in faith, dominion, glory and power. Through the revelation knowledge of your Word, I live and function in absolute victory, now and always, in Jesus’
Name. Amen',

Some songs were taken and the letters containing questions were taken by Mama to be responded to later. Then the letter from the previous week was given to the kids.

'Bye ma'am', in different variations were said as the kids filed out after giving their offerings.

'Look who finally woke up', Mrs Scarlett teased Sarah who tried to look unaffected by it.

'Well I needed it',

'And you over got it! Girl you nearly slept the whole day away, you okay?',

'Yes mother, just didn't sleep much at night coupled with training this morning. Yes I needed it',

'Okay then, help me place these seats properly. I'll join you shortly okay?',

'Yes ma'am ', she began the assigned task humming great is thy faithfulness.

She felt someone coming towards her and turned to see Samuel walking to her.

'Hey kid',

'Hey adult', he greeted back and she chuckled.

'You're supposed to be home or at least on your way there, why are you here?',

'Duh! To fix the seats',

'Huh?', her own brother volunteering for work. Strange things keep happening.

'I wait for everyone else to leave so I can work without distractions, but seeing as you've started I'll complete it. Go away',

'If only there was a way to capture this moment. Hold on, you didn't do anything that'll make me want to kill you right?',

Samuel laughed but continued to work.

Strange things were happening indeed.
