Everything Can Change (All Might X Reader)

Chapter 30

They saved Katsuki, that was such a feat that she didn't know they could accomplish. But, looking at the big screen on the side of the building, that was something she couldn't accomplish. The fight was brutal, All Might was bruised like she had never seen before, and as the hero held one of All for One's attacks, he seemed to deflate. His body now thin and weak, but (Y/n) knew that body, that face, that hair.

"To-Toshinori..." she mumbled as she looked at the screen, her eyes wide as dinner plates and her heart beating a thousand miles per hour.

The audience was quiet for some time, shocked to see the number one hero defeated and hopeless. However, they still had the hope that the man lacked at the moment. The crowd began to shout for All Might, the other pro heroes helping him, people at home were cheering for him. The whole country was paying attention and waiting anxiously for the villain's demise.

"All Might!" the girl screamed too.

"United States of Smash!" they heard the hero scream.

And in a flash, all was over. All for One was on the ground, not moving a muscle. All Might was proudly standing up and extending his closed fist up in the air, showing the definite win.

"Yeah!" she shouted, pumping her fist in the air, and crouching down right after, her legs feeling numb all of a sudden.

"Y-you okay, (L/n)?" Kirishima asked her, even though he couldn't hide his smile.

"I... I'm fine, Kirishima. Just a little dizzy." she said, getting up again and cleaning the tears in her eyes "Take Katsuki to the police station. I'll talk to him later." she began making her way out of the crowd, a million thoughts and questions running through her head.

"Wait, (N/n)!" she heard Izuku shout for her, but the people around had swallowed her already.

Days passed, and (Y/n) had only left her bed to eat, go to the bathroom, shower and to answer one email, which she had already answered. It was about the school making dormitories for the students, easier to study and easier for the teachers to protect them.

She talked to her parents and they said yes, that she could continue to study.

She felt really strange after finding out that All Might was Toshinori. The fact that he was now retired, that he was in the hospital, made her so worried that she was sure that her heart would break if anything about him appeared on the news. She wondered if he would still be teaching them, would he at least say goodbye?

She sighed, her house was a mess, she was a mess. She just hoped that when the classes came back that she wouldn't be so miserable. The girl headed downstairs to fix something for her to eat, the house was a little dark, since the day was near its end. She stumbled a few times, but was able to get to the kitchen without switching any lights on. She planned to grab something quick and head back to bed, however, her plans were ruined when she heard the doorbell ring.

As she walked to the door, she shouted to the person.

"Izuku, for the last time, I don't want to train-" she opened the door, looking lazily at the person outside.

"He-hey..." Toshinori said, an awkward smile on his face and a raised hand saying 'hi' "Can I come in?" he asked, scratching the back of his neck.

The girl looked down at her feet, getting away from the door, as if saying that the man could enter. And he did, walking with uncertainty to the middle of the entryway and waiting for her to close the door and direct him to the living room.
