The fight between Uraraka and Bakugou was about to begin and the girl couldn't contain her anxiety. She knew the blonde would follow her advice to not hurt the girl, but she was sure Ochako would give her all, leaving the task a little harder.
Her eyes scanned the arena, looking from one to the other. She could see that the boy wasn't comfortable, he seemed... Hesitant. Then, the fight began, Uraraka rushed to Bakugou, ready to activate her Quirk and prevent Katsuki from returning to the ground. However, her plan didn't work out very well, with Katsuki activating his Quirk as soon as she got close, blowing the girl away. Again, she tried to get close, she took off her coat and threw it into the smoke, fooling the boy, but he was faster, managing to feel her behind him.
Blows after blows, several explosions sounded in the air, leaving the audience distressed. They started booing, making (Y/n) more nervous than before. She knew he was holding back, but he couldn't let his guard down because he didn't want to lose. Suddenly, Aizawa said exactly what she was thinking.
"Was it a pro who said he's kidding? How many years have you been a pro? If you are serious about this, then there is no reason why you should watch it anymore, so go home! Go home and look for a new job!" The audience was silent, listening intently to the speech "Bakugou is being careful because he knows the strength of his opponent, who has come so far. It's because he's doing his best to win that he can't take it easy or let his guard down."
The girl gave a small smile, she knew that someone else was thinking like her.
The fight continued, Uraraka running to Bakugou and him exploding her. Over and over again. Until she stopped and activated her Quirk, letting the rocks that floated above the arena fall directly on top of Katsuki. She took advantage of this distraction and ran to the boy, but the explosion he used to destroy the stones was so strong that he threw her away.
Ochako dragged herself back in the arena, but went down from tiredness. (Y/n) jumped a little, sad for the girl, but glad that her friend had gone to the next fight. When he arrived in the stands, she leaped into him. She hugged his shoulders, putting her face in his neck and sighing. He blushed lightly, placing his hands around the girl's waist slowly. He could see Kirishima in the background raising his hands, giving a thumbs up. Katsuki practically growled when he saw this.
"Thank you for taking it easy on Uraraka." She said, she felt him trying to push her but she held him harder "I know you're not going to admit it, but... Thank you."
She let him go and smiled, she leaned toward him again and kissed his cheek, saying goodbye right away and leaving the bleachers.
Katsuki saw her leaving and waited a few seconds before letting out a loud scream. Students stared at him without understanding, but Kirishima saw behind everything there. He approached Bakugou and slapped his back, seeing the blonde's completely red face.
"Man, you're so into her." He sighed, patting his friend on the shoulder.
"Shut up, shittyhair!" He shouted, his face growing even redder.
Some time later she returned to the stands to see the fight, but when she saw that it was Todoroki who would be next, she felt sick. She looked around, checking the bleachers and the heroes gathered there. Then, she met Endeavor's eyes, he smiled from ear to ear, a black aura could almost be seen around him. She grew more nervous than before, she looked away, trying to ignore the lump in her throat. She rose slowly from her chair but ran out of the bleachers, leaving her colleagues startled and unaware of what had happened.
She ran down the halls, finding a bathroom far away enough not to hear the fight so well, just the audience's screaming. She sat on one of the toilets, placing her knees close to her chest and her hands on her ears. She stayed like this for a few seconds, trying to ignore her thoughts and the people screaming outside the bathroom.
(Y/n) breathed slowly, waiting for the feeling of anguish to pass. When she was about to put her feet back on the floor, someone entered the bathroom, making her retract her legs again. She was afraid to be who she least wanted to see, but a familiar, and strangely calm, voice reached her ears.
"Hey, what happened?" Bakugou asked, walking from stall to stall, looking underneath it to see if the girl was there.
She got up from the toilet opening the door slowly, her gaze still on the floor. Katsuki looked at her with a frown, but extended his hand, as if wondering if she needed a hug. The girl looked at him, a flushed boy, looking to the side, one hand in his pocket and one outstretched. The scene could be hilarious if she wasn't anxious. She accepted the hand, being pulled into a tight hug. She squeezed the boy's waist, pressing her face to his chest. He lowered his face and sniffed the top of her head, smelling her faint scent.
"I don't want to say what happened." She said, still hugging him. "But thank you for sticking with me until now." She continued, smiling slightly.
"If you don't tell me later what happened, I'll beat you up." Bakugou said.
She started laughing and hugged him harder if that was possible. Katsuki thought of pulling her away and kissing her right there, but for some reason his courage faded when he was near her. So, he just decided to enjoy the moment while it lasted.
