"Kiss!" Recovery Girl said as she kissed Izuku on the forehead.

"Th-thank you, Recovery Girl." the boy mumbled, tired and beaten from the test.

Katsuki was lying on a bed beside Midoryia, unconscious from fatigue. The girl on the other side of him, an ice packet on her forehead, trying to prevent her fever from getting worse. Still, she couldn't help her cheeks from getting hot and red.

"You never learn, All Might!" the woman said, walking to him fast "If you had hit harder, it would have caused irreversible damage! Especially on Midoryia's back, I almost couldn't heal it!" she scolded the man, who couldn't stop coughing "Bakugou should take some time to wake up. However! (L/n)'s brain almost threw her into a coma! If she hadn't stopped using her Quirk for the final run, she wouldn't have crossed the finish line." the woman turned to the girl, who only looked back at her with a guilty face "This is mostly her own fault, but you pushed them too far!" she sighed, tired of advising him and receiving no positive feedback "For now, it's best to rest."

"Yes, ma'am." Izuku and (Y/n) both spoke at the same time.

After Recovery Girl made sure both students were fine, she allowed them to go home. Bakugou had already woken up, but still wasn't good enough to go home. Izuku and (Y/n) thanked the woman for her services and left the infirmary, making their way to leave the school. However, Toshinori stopped them on the way out. Midoryia seemed eager, but the man reassured him that everything was fine and that he wanted to talk to the girl alone.

The student bid her friend goodbye and went with the man. He took her to his office, which she remembered coming to, she just hoped that it wasn't anything bad. They sat in front of each other, getting comfortable before starting the conversation.

"So, what is it you wanted to talk to me about, Toshinori?" she asked seriously, thinking that maybe she had done something wrong.

The man wasn't expecting for the girl to call him by his first name, he had forgotten he told her to do so. He coughed and covered his mouth, spitting blood like a fountain, his cheeks as red as the blood coming out of him. She hurriedly grabbed a handkerchief she had on her bag, extending her hand for him to grab it. The man thanked her and dabbed the blood on his chin, holding the cloth on his hand after.

"I-I wanted to talk to you about the exam." he began, but saw her face slowly turn into a fearful one, so he continued "It's nothing bad! I just wanted to know the reasons for some of your actions."

"Oh! Okay, then." she let out a relaxed breath.

"Why do you want to become a hero?" he asked.

"Woah! That's... A big question." she laughed the tension off "I don't know if I should say this, since you're All Might's representative, but I guess I can trust you, right?" she blinked at him, her small smile vanishing from her face, waiting for his answer.

"O-of course!" he assured her, his head nodding frantically.

"When I was younger, I mostly wanted to become a hero because of my parents. They're both heroes in the USA, Psynectic and Solid Ground. They aren't really famous, so you probably don't know them." she stopped for a second to breathe before continuing "They took care of me really well, I try talking to them every day, but sometimes the hero work gets in the way. They are my examples, who I want to be. But then, I saw All Might." the girl couldn't help but blush at the thought of the man "I hated the message he passed, hated that he was such a perfect hero, hated that all people only talked about him." she looked Toshinori in the eyes, the man seemed shocked to discover her secret "Don't get me wrong!" she waved her hand innocently "He's a great hero, has done a great job saving the world!"

"Then, why the hatred towards him?" the man leaned on his knees, his hands tightly held together.

"Because he sells an image of something that is either impossible or simply not real at all." the girl shrugged, sighing as she had nothing else to say, but continued anyway "I just think that smiling is not the way to save people. Sure, it helps on some occasions, but all the time? I don't get why people don't think he's creepy, maybe it's because they know he'll save them." she seemed now a little stressed, her cheeks growing hot and her eyes rolling "I just don't see all of this in him, mainly Izuku, he's obsessed with him. Maybe that's where it comes from, Izuku would always brag about All Might everyday, at some point I probably got fed up with it." she laughed thinking about the childish hate she used to have.

"You still hate him?" he asked shyly, pulling at the neck of his suit, feeling his throat close while discovering that the girl actually hated him.

"On the contrary!" she responded fast "I-I got u-used to him..." she mumbled embarrassed, her hands grabbing at the ends of her skirt.

"Well, he sure does have an eye on you." he said smiling, but noticed how awkward that comment was and quickly corrected himself "Ah! I-I mean... He expects great things from you. He wants to see what you're capable of."

"Oh... I wasn't expecting to grab the attention of the most powerful hero." she laughed the embarrassment off, scratching her neck awkwardly.

"You are quite powerful too, maybe that's why." Toshinori said, his ego being high up in the clouds as she said something good about him "Now, onto the next topic." he said, fixing his back on the couch, getting more comfortable "I saw your exam fight, which was quite impressive. However, I noticed how at some points you clearly saw the easiest way out and said nothing to your partners. You either went along with them or did it alone. Why is that?"

"At some point, I started thinking like Katsuki. I noticed that if you weren't the strongest, you wouldn't get much attention. And being the number one hero isn't a position for more than one, right?" she laughed, actually feeling dumb saying that out loud.

"True, but friends help on the way." he smiled at her, knowing exactly what she was going through "Young Bakugou is determined, strong and well behaved when it matters to him. But, the one and only thing he does have, but doesn't realize, are friends. And he'll need it in the future. Sure, you'll pass your tests and all, but like the other day's exam, you might need your partner's help. So, don't neglect the ones around you, they only want your best." Toshinori said, a sad smile on his lips.

The girl stayed quiet for a few seconds, rethinking her idea of being alone, because she thought that she only needed herself. If she was powerful enough, she wouldn't need anybody, but that's not the truth, even just emotional support is necessary in this life.

"Thank you, Toshinori." she got up, bowing while smiling "It really changed my mind, I'll make sure to remember it."

"It was good talking to you." he smiled and got up too "Feel free to come at any time." he said, opening the door to the corridor.

"I'll be happy to come." she said, bowing again, before getting closer and kissing his cheek "Bye, Toshinori." she said, her cheeks red and her eyes not leaving his own.

"By-bye, (Y/n)." he mumbled, his own face bright red as he closed his door slowly and shyly.
