Chapter ten

Shikamaru point of veiw ~ Sasuke and I were busy taking care of Naruto while the others have been helping the bridge builder. It's been a month since Naruto got hurt and he was supposed to wake up a week ago.

Sakura says that he'll be fine but I'm honestly worried. I don't even get why I'm worried about him so much. I barely even know him. But he does interest my shadows and I. Which is weird and I need to ask my dad about it when I get home.

I was currently laying my head on the bed when someone suddenly jumped making lift my head up thinking it was Sasuke but he was staring back at me like he thought it was me. We both looked to see Naruto sitting up.

"Are you okay"I asked "shush"he said and pointed to the window. Sasuke and I looked outside and saw that the place was surrounded by ninjas. Inari and his mother ran into the room "we are surrounded"Inari's mom said "Naruto"Inari said jumping into Narutos arms with tears "hey kid"Naruto said

"What are we going to do"Sasuke asked "fight and protect your clients obviously dumbass. Your a ninja. This is what your signed up for the moment you entered the academy"Naruto said with a sigh "no need to be rude"Sasuke said making Naruto roll his eyes and get up out of bed.

"Where are you going"I asked "to fight"Naruto said "your hurt"I said "okay and it's my job to protect Inari and his mother. Did you forget that fighting and protecting people is in the ninja job description"Naruto asked "right"Sasuke and I said watching Naruto jump out of the window.

Sasuke and I did the same helping Naruto fight. We managed to take them down. Naruto left a clone at the house while we went to go check on the others. They were fighting. The sensei's were fighting S-rank ninjas. While kakashi was fighting Zabuza and a feminine guy. Naruto and Sasuke went to help him out. J decided to help out my team.

It took a few hours and we managed to win. Honestly this was the longest mission of my life. A-Rank missions are absolutely no joke. No wonder why people die without proper training. I sighed knowing that I'm going to have to ask my dad to up my training so I am prepared the next time I go out on a mission.

"Hey sensei"Ino said "what is it Ino"Asuma asked "can you stop babying us and actually train us to fight to become great ninjas. It's honestly embarrassing if it wasn't for Naruto we would've died. I'm going to ask my dad to start actually training me as well. I'm the next clan head. And I can see the difference between my power level and Narutos. We aren't anywhere near his level and we've been training since we were kids by our parents"Ino said

"I have to agree. Even menma, kiba, Sakura and Mito can see the difference between us and Naruto. Naruto has been living alone since he was a kid but he had more experience then we do when it comes to being a ninja. I don't want to be indebted to him for saving us more then he already has"Choji said

"I agree"I said "okay. When we get home I will train you to become real ninja and we will be taking a lot more missions from C-rank to A-rank missions. I hope your ready for the hardships that are going to come from now on"Asuma said

"we are"the three of us said "then I look forward to making you the strongest Shika-Ino-Cho of you clans and some of the best ninja of your generation"Asuma said "we are up for the challenge so bring it on"Ino said

It might be more work. But like Choji said. I don't want to be indebted to Naruto more then I already am. I want to be able to protect him the next time we have a mission together and be able to fight with him and by his side as well.
